Nigel Kennedy is English and famous in the UK. He plays/conducts and writes classical music and has started experimenting with jazz. He lives in Poland spending his time between Krakow and Zakopane. Who'd want to do that? - I'm not jealous really! honest :). Ok I am.

He likes a good fiddle, does he? He's an Aston Villa fan, hmm...

His Four Seasons rendition was stunning. In Poland? I didn't know that. I know that he has been here but I thought that that was just to visit.

He is appearing 19th July as part of the PROMS at Londons Albert Hall. (.. "For the past few years Kennedy has been living in Poland, exploring the country's rich musical heritage - and he has also been teaming up with some of Poland's finest jazz musicians, the fruits of which you can hear tonight.")

Poland has an excellent jazz tradition. Even the amateur guys can wow crowds. I'm not into jazz myself but I can appreciate mastery of instruments. I wish Kennedy well, he is a seasoned performer who plays with confidence.
