Getting married to a Polish Citizen in the UK

how can apply polish citizenship because my wife is polish and we recently got married in uk i am from pakistan

Being pakistani i do respect polish girl ,i have been into uk for the last five years my wife is polish but she is very nice she never let me feel that she is from different culture.

Tell me how can you say polish girls are easy to get that not true girls are girls weither they are english,pakistani or polish they are deserved to be respected.

Pakistanis are not so cheap tell me are you better than us in tecnology.If we are stupid how come we are well settled in uk.My friend don't go on colors.

Sure it is. Depending what country you're from, if you want to get married in Poland you need to get an agreement from the Polish Court for a foreigner to marry a Polish citizen.

Stay in Poland married for 3 years and get citizenship.

To get a Polish passport you have to be a Polish citizen first. You cannot get Polish citizenship while living in the US.
You can get a Polish passport in the Polish Embassy in the US but it takes about 6 months, and that's only if you are a Polish citizen, it would be quicker to get it in Poland.

Please read my advise to the black man that wants to marry a Polish national. It's a big mistake, we have lot's of men in America that decided to took a swim in the small puddle between their legs and have drowned!

Write a book about it, make some money from it, so you don't have to go on the interent and being perceived as a person who is not reaaly clear. Good luck. I know. I really feel for them, but it's a Polish forum. I really think that writing it is a good thing as a way of coping with stress. I really don't know what to say in those situations.

I still think it's no excuse to write off everyone. I agree that people need to vent...but, it gets old.

Wrong there. During the Ice Age, people crossed from Europe over the North Atlantic Ice bridge. I forget where they were from, prolly France, but they found dozens of similar spear heads in Virginia and in Europe. I think it was thousands of years before the first Native Americans came.

Stick with the issue of why a person should discourage marring a Polish Citizen. if she were in America, that would be fine but with 53 % of all marriage ending in divorce and Poland refusing to follow treaties that were written to protect children, I would not encourage it. There is no rule of law in Poland. it's a joke the way they administer justice, the Judges are clowns, it's all a circus.

I am here for the first time and its nice to see a Polish forum. It was quite interesting for me to read all the messages and some of my friends r quite wrong ( as far as I know ) about a Polish girl marrying a Pakistani boy. I am a Pakistani myself and am married to a Polish girl. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life, I met her on internet while I was in Pakistan and then I came to UK ( where I am now ) and then went to Poland to meet her, I went there back a couple of times and then we got married in Poland. It was the happiest day of my life. Now I can guess some of my Polish friends think I have married her for EU citizenship ? or just for sex ? but none of them is true.

we both plan to go to Saudi Arabia in a few years time so I won't need to become an EU citizen for that, and neither for sex coz she is still living in Poland while I am here in UK. and by the way, when a couple is married, sex becomes their personal matter so y should we comment on it ? none of our families r approving our marriage, my parents went against it coz they couldn't see me marrying a girl from the West and her parents weren't approving coz I am a Muslim. but we both loved each other and we didn't listen to anyone nor did bother about religion, culture, language, color or anything else.

Its quite true that some of Pakistanis here in Europe would try to marry a european girl for immigration purposes but thats not true about all of them. I personally love Poland and Polish people, I find them the friendliest people in europe and so do my other friends ( none of them has a polish wife or girl-friend ). All I have got from Poland and polish people, even strangers is love, ( except my mum-in-law, the only Pole who hates me ! ) I have more Polish friends than Pakistanis.

one of my friend came with some very interesting reasons for why do polish girls marry pakistani guys :), well I am not rich, my wife is the most beautiful girl in the world, she rejected many polish boys' proposals to be with me, she doesn't like curry coz its too spicy for her ( I love peirogi though but only from peirogarnia in the old city in Warsaw ).

and in response to SHORTY who says 90% of Pakistanis in UK r pervert and muslims and they abuse Polish women, 99.99999 percent of Pakistanis in UK r muslims and don't know what definition does she have for 'pervert', so I would like if he/she makes it clear a bit :) and as I said, all the Pakistanis I know in UK love and respect Polish people because they r friendly, they r not racists, they r not colorists, they r very hard-working, very welcoming, friends-in-need, and very sincere and of course girls r very beautiful !
