- Don't you grossly exaggerate, Matty? - God help us be one tenth as prosperous as United Kingdom.

I own a Palce and just paid 174,000 PLN for a new roof on top of the price for the actual property! a price of a small flat eh Bubba.

its not my intention to knock you WB but 174000 could have been more than the palac itself - ive seen them advertised for less and 174000 wont get you much in a lot of the tri city

Well, you should be happy then. You gave some job for Polish workers and prevented them from going to the UK :)

Yeh ive know palaces to be sold for 1 EUR, but there gone. Ive seen palaces which were nothing but walls for over 1,000,000 PLN lets be realistic here. It all comes down down to the renovation costs.

- I suppose he can't afford now to keep the thing - the maintenance, taxes, etc.? If so, he shouldn't have invested in the old junk in the first place. He should've been, ahem, a little smarter....

Typical Polish attitude im afraid.

If a Pole came to England and ploughed money into our heritage I would atleast be grateful. I guess thats one of the reasons Polands is such a dive.

I never thought that I will live the day when calling someone a poster will be perceived as disrespectful. I always thought that the word sculpture carries a very negative baggage with itself but poster? Now really... ;)
