want to travel to Racibórz from Amsterdam

Dobry wieczor!! Nie mowiem po polsku ale musze probowac :)

I want to travel to Racibórz from Amsterdam to meet with some friends, so it seems to me that the best option available for me right now is to take the airplane but they only seem to fly from Amsterdam to Warsawa. (Which is pretty far from where I want to be.) So I'm planning to take the train from Warsawa to Katowice - Racibórz.

Could someone please give me a reasonable indication of travelling time and the price in Zloty? (Just a rough draft, you don't have to count it out in detail for me.) I'll check back later next weekend, it would be nice to have some idea of what amount of money I should exchange from euro's to zlotych.

Dziekuje z gory! Pozdrawiam

If you are from Holand, a train ticket will be cheap for you :). I guess a ticket may cost about 60 zl (15 euros). I suggest to take the first class (an additional 8 euros). And exchange more money just in case you need to take a taxi or something (actually, I think you can pay private people in Euros nowadays)...

I'm afraid you'll have to change one. The same for Krakow-Raciborz connections

I couldn't find any price information. probably about PLN 100 or euro 25 .

Raciborz :) nice town to see - it's situated just about 30 kilometers from the place I live :)

As far as tickets are concerned... The train ticket from Warsaw to Katowice probably costs approx. 60-70zl (17eu), however I assume there is no direct connection between those places. If I were you I would choose another method of travelling, namely by coach - it's a bit more expensive but the conditions there are incomparable better.

Or maybe there are some possibilities - check connections - maybe you'll come across something better. There are also some airports in Wroclaw and in Katowice - and these cities are quite near from Raciborz.

Cool, maybe you know some of my friends, you never know.. And I know it's about 80km from Katowice, and I wanted to fly to Katowice in the first place but KLM doesn't seem to land there for no appearant reason? :(

So.. maybe it'll be a brighter idea if I tried LOT, :) because they do land in Katowice, so I could always take the taxi or maybe a bus from there.

Okay, I think I get the picture now, dziekuje bardzo ludzi! :)
