Wow thanks. Ok, I guess I miss just walking around the streets and soaking in a whole other culture that I had no idea of and listening to the people, reading the boards in the square about history I had no idea of, drinking nice beer and just the general relaxed atmosphere I was having.

I haven't tried bigos yet.

Best way I could personally describe it is a "goulash" type dish, sorry about my spelling.
May I be ignorent and ask what the song is in PGs post? And is the footage of the army to do with Russia?

Sausage you should tell Poor Edward that the cheese cake tastes of cheese. ha ha ha, give him a fighting chance.
Isn't Begos and sourkrout the same thing? (I'll probably be thrown out of PF for that? )

Yep, isn't it the same except it has wild mushrooms and bits of meat? no~?
I am not 100% I dislike saeurkraut and therefore do not eat bigos, so I put them into the same category.

Poor Edward

I'm in Craicow at the moment but

Im going to post my thread in the next day or so and tell all but I dont know how to post pictures. I will say that I found it to be more of an introduction as opposed to the experience I had wanted, Im defo going back at christmas a friend from work who lives near and went to uni there said I could go, we'll stay at her parents place and maybe Ill get a little further into Prozac, which I thought was just a bar. Oops was I wrong. I did enjoy it but I dont like touristy things so out of season will be just right.

Get an account with photobucket. Upload your photos to there, after uploading to you will get a URL which you can post in your thread here on PF.

it's always crowdy. i don't like it. the best pubs are in the Kazimierz area. more 'locals' less tourists. great atmosphere. and when summer is gone there gonna be a lot of students. a lot of hot female students ;)

Just above where you type in there is a thing saying attach file [?] use that to download pictures'

I will say that I found it to be more of an introduction as opposed to the experience I had wanted,

It is usually a problem to have too many expectations.

Im defo going back at christmas a friend from work who lives near and went to uni there said I could go,

Glad to see you ain't ***** whipped, just messin

. I did enjoy it but I dont like touristy things

By tourists, I presume you mean none Polish, cause there are more Pole tourist than anything else and there should be loads of places that do not have foreign tourists.

And think about coming for the skiing, snowboarding rocks!

You can only post 2 at a time if you use that method.

I most certaintly am not, she said she was goin for christmas and I invited myself ;)

That, and the fact that everywhere I go theres some arse with a camera I usually like to try blend in, of course I probably dont but I tried and with all the english that was spoken to me even by poles I got a little lazy sometimes.

Ah ha, that answerd my next question.

I most certaintly am not, she said she was goin for christmas and I invited myself ;)

It was just the way you said "a friend from work who lives near and went to uni there said I could go", is she cute?

blend in

Incognito, I get you.
It was not always like that, before very few people spoke English. I used to look at the Polish menu and just do the chicken dance to get some food (chicken) and sure it was a laugh, don't worry, I think what you are looking for is easy to find. Like McCoy says the jewish quarters is great craic, check out Alchemia" next time, great bar but prices have been rising there too, I am not impressed ha ha ha

Damn straight she is, but due to wed so I wouldnt try it with her. Shes just a nice person who I like spending time with, as simple as. And for her to show me around would be great.

prices have been rising there

I found the trip cheap 7pln for a beer was better than 5-6 euro for a beer back home.

it's cheaper...but when you're going to another country you shouldn't compare... coz for you it's cheap, for a Pole it may be pricey...

Yeah, cool, a local guide mate is always good and you never know she might have some mates....

I found the trip cheap 7pln for a beer

I know how this sounds but 7 PLN is expensive. I pay 5 in my local ha ha ha not bloody euros anyway....

You sound fairly enthusiastic about it still, good stuff, there is a lot to this place, I mean loads of things to explore, sure I don't even know the half of it.
