Co-operative ownership in Poland - - explain

Hi. Could someone tell me the difference between owning an a apartment normall and buying an apartment in a 'Co-operative'(spoldenia or something in polish.) What are the implications etc. Would there be problems selling it?

I think that there are different kind of this ownership - the most popular is practically not much different than normal ownership.
