boleslav 2 | 2 7 Jun 2007 / #1Most of my Polish relatives are 6 feet or over. In other countries tall men are usually elected to political office. For example, Bill Clinton, Ronald Reagan, etc. Why is it then so many Polish political leaders like the Kaczynski brothers, Lech Walesa, etc. are midgets?
daffy 23 | 1,500 7 Jun 2007 / #2size has nothing to do with an ability to govern or be in the service of the state.imho - this is a daft topic
FISZ 24 | 2,116 7 Jun 2007 / #4Nicholas Sarcozy is pretty short. Why would you even start a topic like this? LOL and why would any of us answer?Maybe you're 12-15 though. I can see that in your other comments. We discuss the anti missile base and you're just concerned with talking smack about Pl women. I don't even see you comment in any other topics either which shows me that you're brain capacity may not be able to handle the volume ;)I also think you're American. Why would you have to say "Polish" relatives or just name US presidents.........
OP boleslav 2 | 2 7 Jun 2007 / #5I'm just giving examples, that's the way you support an argument. If you went to school you would know that. I also am tired of seeing Polish leaders looking up to other world leaders. Maybe if they elected a tall leader he would get more respect.
miranda 7 Jun 2007 / #7I also am tired of seeing Polish leaders looking up to other world leaders.Imagine how they feel.Maybe if they elected a tall leader he would get more respect.tall leaders haven't proven to be all that good, so what is your argument again?

Grzegorz_ 51 | 6,148 7 Jun 2007 / #11Why is it then so many Polish political leaders like the Kaczynski brothers, Lech Walesa, etc. are midgets?Check Roman G. :)
southern 74 | 7,074 7 Jun 2007 / #12gandhi was tinyman who made great deeds and got great respectThis was advantage because he could start hunger strike and survive more days than average height persons.
southern 74 | 7,074 7 Jun 2007 / #14being short leader has advantagesAnd Alexander the great could not easily be hit cause he was a small target.Stalin was regarded as not important due to his height. So he escaped death.
OP boleslav 2 | 2 7 Jun 2007 / #15Roman giertych is a good example. Who do you think would look more commanding in a photoop with another world leader, Giertych or Kaczynski? Giertych of course.
shopgirl 6 | 928 7 Jun 2007 / #16I dunno, maybe in some cases, diminutive men feel pressure to "prove themselves" and overdo it with agressive and controlling behavior.I've heard people refer to "little man syndrome", but don't know if there's anything to it.
