Need help choosing a research topic on Poland

Hey guys,
I need to write an argumentative research paper. It needs to be about 6 pages typed. We get to decide on the topic, and I would like to do something that is related to Poland. It has to be something that I can make an argument for or against. Also, I would like to do something that I can find a lot of information about and easily. So far, I've been thinking about doing it about the contribution of Polish Pilots during World War II.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Did Poland have a chance to become a sovereign country after the WW II?

My grandfather was a Polish Pilot during WWll and later joined forces with the US alongside Pilsudzki.
