its not something you would see in the united states ( if there was, it would be
major media), never said all companies run great, wasnt putting poland down
last thing I would do, not in my blood to do that.

Yeah, well this site has become one big anti American website and it sucks. I'm shocked to see all of these negative comments from BOTH ends.

I agree.

unfortunately, some think just because of our president, we are like him, generalizing, and some of us arent, he represents us, but its not like we all want whats

going on to happen. people protest , congress protests. hes veto happy.

then soon as we say something, well your American what do you know???

but not all knock us, theres quite a few whom are very understanding and
never have said a bad thing. which, makes you realize that there are still
a great deal of good people who inhabit this earth. every country has its faults.

It's old news Patty, don't think that it still carrying on. To few workers available on the market to force them to go through this sort of humiliation.

good that its old news.

but its true that they were made to do this. which still there needs to be some type
of laws put in place. whos to say another company wont come along and get wind
of this and try it again? is there policys?

we have some companies too which need attention, which are getting resolved,
but we have laws set forth. and so getting away with certain unfair practice here
attracts media attention.

well this site has become one big anti American website and it sucks

What made you think like that?

I've been here for sometime... and some posters have gone far. But regarding USA... I have found nothing Anti here! Except just a couple or more posts from some anonymus persons.

Here you come to know about Polish people, Polish views, Polish lifestyle... Yes, it is not fully representitive of Poland... but it seems a fairly free website where people can post their opinions. So if a Polish opinion comes out dissappointed of USA!... then this makes the website suck and Anti-American? Can you show where and how many times this website have been Anti-American?

Why not come in face to face with the world... the world does react on American policies. Because America is not just any other country... you should know what America is now...

I agree.

I DISAGREE that this site is Anti-American.

e think just because of our president, we are like him

That is your President...he is making the Policies... how do you expect people not to regard him anything else but as AMERICA itself!
This is the way the world operates... this is what you have chosen in democracy!

people protest , congress protests

I know, we see that in news. But also, the tone of the protest often looks so selfish! They protest and want their own troops back. How many times do these protests talk about the wrath of the Iraqi people.

They talk about body bags... OF USA TROOPS....why not Iraqis?

Because Americans will care for their own children and their own interests?... But America's position is not like that ... that is why they loose respect everyday... you must realise it.

every country has its faults.

Yes... is it true. But when the faults are put forward... they should we accepted and people should try to repair them. ACCEPTING ones fault is a crucial step towards reconstruction.

If the rich parents are too protective of her sons... powerful sons, killing and mugging around the town... then that doesnt make then super parents or a true family!... It just makes them ignorant and finally they loose respect. Then there remains no difference between the assailant and the person.

....

However... In Poland... such a factory/company, which have been so shameful...are not let go. This is not Poland! Poland is a respectful country... and we try our best to go ahead in life.

Our companies are trying their best to prove that Poland can become more prosperous. If they do wrong...I can assure you that Polish people will not sit defeated and tortured. We have never been like that!

You can always criticise... criticism is welcome. It helps thoughtful minds to bring out solutions.

Kaczynski

They are two clever people :)
I think that Patty have done nothing wrong to put her views and intentions over here. If someone dont like it... they can put their views aswell! But animosity is always upsetting!... and ignorance is worse.

2004, 2007, what's the difference. It's an embarrassment- more like from the dark days of Communism.

With thanks, Patrycja, for making this available.
I'd wear the headband if it meant extra tea breaks though.

Alright then... :)

Here it is (hope you all enjoy this):

Ms. Patrycja Lee

Dear Madame,

We confirm your letter from the date 20 of April 2007 for an address of the President of the Republic of Poland-Lech Kaczynski.

We inform that we know with the content. We want to explain that relationships between worker and the employer control are in a part of the ‘Rules of the job code’.

Organ to supervise and control of observing ‘The law of working’ is of the country inspector, in which, organizations of works, and the behavior to follow, is written in a country rule of inspecting works. To comply with the rules of that law, the range of behavior and country inspection of working, should act as a control for employers to observe the rules and principles of security, rules about relationships at work, paying for a work, and another, testifying about time at work, breaks, and about law - what workers can do and what they mustn’t do!

With Regards,

Malgorzata Wietchowska,

Specialist in office of letter and civil opinion

I wrote again to get a clearer picture.. it kinda tells basics :)

it was a response that counts for something.. I also write here to our
reps whom right now one working on credit card practices.. I think that they
rake you over the coals with some of this high Aprs or late fees.. everyone
can relate to this, they raise the rate the first time you are late and some
cards are at 21% or higher and how can one person pay off debt?

one of our reps is totally against this. the average American cant keep
debt cleared this way. stop unfair practice!!

Thinking of it, I think you do the right thing. If something bother's you, or is confusion, or is unconfortable, etc... you should raise a voice then! You should write...

People will say many things... negative or positive.... but what matters is that you didnt leave the stone unturned. It matters alot.

Then this person shouldn't make the mistake of buying things they can't afford. We all create our own debt. I'ts your choice to get a credit card with such a high APR. We Americans are so bad with debt. You can't buy what you can't afford...even if it's over time...... except for a car or home of course. I've been in enough financial trouble and I know it was my fault for getting sucked in.

What is this headband issue?...do employees in food services have to wear a headband
or hairnet when preparing food?...in the US, almost all food service people now wear latex gloves when preparing sandwiches, slicing lunchmeat, etc...this is not neccesarily

a bad thing...and, of course, after using the bathroom, you should wash your hands,
because handling your private parts & then preparing someone's food without washing
is not good...and what is this holding one's water because the boss won't let you go to
the bathroom about?...when you have to go, you go...that's it.

I'ts your choice to get a credit card with such a high APR.

oh no fisz, you cannot be saying its the publics fault when we all know they have
unfair practice in Credit cards, for one, getting a credit card, which in the clause
you later find out, that a one time late can raise your apr up to 21 % on all purchases
not just the one your paying off, even when paying more, and they lower
your credit without notification, so you might purchase something and end up with
a over the limit fee, and other hidden fees..

thats how they attract the public.. then they slam them. why do you think people
end up in bankruptcy? you will never pay the principle because your paying
double in interest.. sorry, but I disagree, and does your family charge you ungodly
rates? no, I dont mind paying extra for a use of credit card, if there is a senator
who is implementing this, I am all for it, yes some are careless, but I am responsible
and I find it to be stealing when a credit card company keeps adding hidden fees
and changin interest rates and the Apr increases with late and late fees to which
pretty soon, you cant afford food. its disgusting, and you know as well as I do, most
places will not accept reservations without a credit card.

sorry, but I am already into politics now thanks to you all :) LOL

crush those credit card companies

What is this headband issue?...do employees in food services have to wear a headband
or hairnet when preparing food?.

no, its about women only wearing them to signify that they are on their monthly
menstrual cycle.. but this is or was resolved . or is old news.. but we dont know
if its still happening, employers could still be doing it.. for what only god knows.
I dont even see how it would effect their job, unless they were not letting these
women have breaks either..which I am still appalled and sickened by the thought
of it, or the nappys. that employer would wear it on his head !

Patrycja, so have you e-mailed your protests to President Bush about scandalous work conditions in numerous places in the US?

Have any folks from UK and Australia supported you in this?

puzzler, to actually have a real conversation with you, here I know who to email
as I can find the sources to email those in charge of this type of issue.

with Poland, I didnt know who to email, my only thought was Kaczynski, I was
jumpin the gun, but I did write and recieved a response.. whether he laughed
or didnt respond, I wrote. voices dont get heard if they dont do something. any
effort is better then no effort.. Right??

Have any folks from UK and Australia supported you in this?
:)

if they have, they have done so silently.. my email is open , I welcome more
voices.. I just hope you one day can apply your voice to more constructive
writing as you could probably bring a politician down with all that negative
you bring to the table.. Apply it towards the movement of making things better
by asking those who are corrupt to prove their actions, not those who are
attempting to make things better thru constructive knowledge and heartfelt
attempts.

You need to read the fine print. Since when are you supposed to make late pmnts anyway? It's in the fine print on all of my CC's. As far as telling you when it gets raised, that appears on your monthly statement. I know this because it's happened. The fact is that people spend money that they don't have. We're all guilty of it.

crush those credit card companies

This is the problem, you just need a good bank :)
