Szarlotka - the same - I don't even want to go onto details with this guy. He probably secretly knitts socks for his eastern european trips.

I've been sussed out. Be nice to me newbies and I'll knit some for you - all in lime green with vivid pink bunny rabbits on

Shawn_H - Polish recipes King+ should know that New Boujelais Nouvo should be drank within a month

Beaujolais Nouveau is typically meant to be consumed within the first year of release, certainly not a wine that is intended for aging.

wine.about.com/od/winearoundtheworld/a/BeaujolaisNouv.htm

Mine never seems to make it past the early days of summer....

Ahh, insider knowledge eh? OK I'll take your recommendations cos knowing my son I'll probably be wise to ignore his advice.

Couple of nice bars on Granville St, Doohans is on your left and heading towards the bridge on your right a nice bar called Morrissey's.. Decent Guinness, staff and customers in both... Or on the corner of Robson and Granville a bar called Lennox where i met my then canadian girlfriend...ahhhhh

My local out of downtown was a lovely Belgium bar on Commercial drive... oh dear i seem to know all the bars, what a lush...

I can't drink a case that quickly (contrary to popular belief).....

Women love men that don't give a rats a55 about spelling. ;-)

I had a single bottle in mind - being on the studen budget doesn't allow me to indulge that much these days;(
I agree with the latter

Women love to have a unique selection of wine, well after it is no longer commercially available. This particular variety only comes out once a year, and is usually snapped up quickly on most markets. I work in an area that has a lot of new immigrants from asia, and as of yet it would appear they have not caught on to the phenomenon... Cannot buy just one... must have a case...

what exactly do you think this statement says about you?

I thought my comments were quite funny, since he had called a forum member ugly, :)

Beaujolais Nouveau is the first of the season's wine, produced at the end of the summer... if you can make yours last till the start of the following summer then you are doing well...!

Have you ever wondered why the French don't drink that much Beaujolais Nouveau?

IMHO there are many better choices
