in the 6 years with my ex I didnt pay for one drink or one meal.

No wonder he's your ex.

I just believe that a man should pay if he's taking me out.

Im not a gold digger

No you are just tight!

in the 3 years of my relationship i had to pay for almost every meal and drink we had, even when he took me out to apologise and make up. no wonder he's my ex ;).

No you are just tight!

i would disagree, if someone invites you out they should at least buy you a drink. it's like i was cooking dinner, invited my date over and got him to pay me 50% of what i spent on the food. now THAT would be tight.

I finished it with him...As kind as he was he was a miserable fecker, plus his relationship with his mum was a bit too close...he brought her to the pictures with us once!

No you are just tight!

How rude! I can assure you he received a nice £5 book token for every birthday!

Am I not decent because I did not pay for the meal?

Amathyst

I'm not decent because we went out for dinner and nobody invited the other out to dinner.

We just went out together and ended up having dinner.

should've been, but love is blind eh, and i felt bad about making him pay cos he was always in debt (another red flag right there ha ha...)

i find it highly uncomfortable when you only just start going out with someone and they introduce you to all of their mates and family right at the start before you're even remotely sure that it'll last. and oh dear, a mommy's boy. i probably wouldn't give the miserable fecker the time of day, but hey, love IS blind ;)

I never present girls to my mom except they ask for this(till now only polish asked).I don't understand this women's obsession with moms.

I agree. If i asked someone out then i would expect to foot the bill but even then just the offer of "i will get the next round in" goes down well, but amathyst didn't pay for one drink in 6 years. Short arms and deep pockets.

Probably amathysts brother, the tight git.

My mom is generous and gives girls lots of cosmetics,so then they become spoiled and forget their duties.

that's what i tend to do, if we go out for a meal and the guy pays, i'll pay for drinks if we move on to the bar, or take them out and pay next time. if you like someone then it kinda feels right to treat them as much as they treat you.

'CAUSE a real Polish guy disallow ALWAYS that the girl pay!!!

Usually it's normal that the man pays when a couple is on a date. It's not only in Poland, but in many other countries too.

But we should remember that in Poland, culture and customs are different depending on where you live. If you ask young people about culture and customs you will often get different answers from those who live in big cities and those who live in villages.

More and more Polish girls really want to pay from time to time when you're out eating, drinking etc.
