przemeksgirl 3 Oct 2007 / #98I live in the UK and I met my boyfriend when he was 27 and I was 16, everyone thought it was really dodgy and my mum wasn't pleased to say the least. we were together for 6 months before we had sex.....we appreciated that people around us weren't happy and wanted to prove we really did care for each other. anyway, after getting to know him better, my mum let him move in with us and we have been together for 2 years and he proposed last week. I think you have to look at every case individually, I'm so happy in my relationship and I hope that your 16year old will be as responsible as I was.....just dont nag her, if you nag her she'll probably sleep with him to spite you. good luck!

przemeksgirl 4 Oct 2007 / #101I was thrilled and was so happy when I said yes. I've been asked by a few people if i'm worried that i'm missing out on life, and I can firmly say no. I've been in a few relationships before and they were simply relationships for relationships sake- I now live with my best friend and share everything with him. We go clubbing together and alone if we want and he has been accepted within my group of friends. I've met his family in poland and everything went well.I feel that i'm at an advantage - rather than looking at it as i'm shutting the world out, I think that i get to face the world more confidently with my boyfriend at my side.
