I am an authority on this since my company czekoladowyraj.com has been to all the major wedding venues in gdansk. It depends what you are looking for. If you are looking for a hotel type venue then the Nadmorski in Gdynia or oberzje pod lipami in gdansk are pretty good.

If ur looking for the traditional countryside venue, I recommend rozewie in Puck or magnat in Gdansk.

Then there are the typical restaurant type venues.

If u want to know more email me.

Merged:Wedding in Gdansk - Choir

just wanted to know - is it popular in Gdansk to hire a choir for a wedding? what if you don't like the choir in the church where you're getting married in - what are you going to do then? where will we be able to find one?

there are amateur choirs at great many churches in Poland - I don't think it is difficult to find one in GdaƄsk - you just need to phone a couple of parishes (well your fiancee should) to get in touch with some choir leader - I am sure you can hire these people pretty easily unless it is somewhere around big festivities - I believe though personal contact with a choir leader would be preferable ,if it is only possible, to talk and arrange things

(I am assuming your fiancee is Polish)

I agree.

At my cousin's wedding she had a chocolate fondue fountain. There were assorted fruits and marshmallows to cover with delicious toppings.

I had a can of Heinz beans not long ago but not a fountain. I'd go with the ice-cream :)

I saw a really cool one some time ago. This is the thing to have on the next big party (wedding or whatever).
