Its obvious you are a regular and its an anonymous internet forum anway...

fair enough but if you read the thread, you would notice that OP is a troll, so IQ becomes a secondary issue. Or not;) P

nobody really cares about IQ in Poland anyways.

nobody really cares about IQ in Poland anyways.

Then why does it come up in every other conversation here? I think people here are obsessed with letting foreigners know how smart they think they are.

because the intellectual quality of some posts)ers has a lot to be desired, therefore some people assume that logical thinking is not the strongest point of some people and those people happen to be non-Polish.

Polish people with low(er) IQ simply don't post here because of the language barrier.

Ah sorry I didnt mean HERE as in PF. I meant in Poland. I have heard the IQ thing repeatedly for years. It does seem to be a big deal to some.

Also...IQ is just about taking tests. Mine is very high simply because I am good at taking tests...but I know some people who would probably fail an IQ test but when it comes to real smarts and application they could blow me away. IQ is not a big deal. I would rather have a low number IQ and the practical smarts of some villagers who can design and build a tractor our of old beer cans or something incredible like that.

I care. Are you jealous because ukrainian IQ stands at 94?

therefore some people assume that logical thinking is not the strongest point of some people and those people happen to be non-Polish.

What people are non-Polish?The ones who assume or the ones about whom is assumed?

maybe it has something to do with compensating for other things.

that is good. I am not because I don't go by those standards alone when it comes to assessing people's intelligence. Eg. if somebody is told many times not to do something and they still do it - would you assume that that person has a low or high IQ?

I thought that it was obvious who is Polish and who is not on PF.

What people are non-Polish?The ones who assume or the ones about whom is assumed?

I though it was obvious who was and who wasn't. Why am I detecting some anxiety on your part?

This is obvious. You should not mention it.

Eg. if somebody is told many times not to do something and they still do it - would you assume that that person has a low or high IQ?

It depends who tells him it.

I don't go by those standards alone when it comes to assessing people's intelligence.

IQ tells a lot about a person's intelligence and is a quality you can immediately sense.

This is obvious. You should not mention it.

I knew someone would take that out of context and try to insult me. The point was it is because of ONE thing...and that thing being I am good at test taking. That does not translate into real world intelligence and to use it as such is invalid.

Real world intelligence is illustrated in your accomplishments and actions not a standardized test.

It depends who tells him it.

that is not intelligent according to my standards. LOL

Real world intelligence is illustrated in your accomplishments and actions not a standardized test.

IQ numbers are only important to MENSA a$$holes that want to try and impress each other. That and Doda apparently because every time here name is mentioned people say "Oh did you know her IQ is 160 something?" I guess she is good at taking tests too because she is sure not good at sounding intelligent.

Absolutely right gtd. Doda, Sharon Stone and Madonna. Please, give me a break. How many times must I say it? Intelligence is a rounded concept. There are many sub forms of intelligence.

These 'tests' are largely mathematical. I never score too well on them. Still, my collective intelligence(s) is pretty decent by any standard.

Scrap the elitism.

In fact I would say whoever created MENSA was the smart one. They got a bunch of people to PAY them to take a test and join a club just to say "Hey look at how smart I am".

That is genius...

Yeah, u do wonder about the day jobs of such people. Don't get me wrong, I loved a bit of MENSA puzzling and other mental pursuits like chess, but I never let it dominate my life.

It's classic club mentality, an impulse which stems/springs from a primitive source.

I also wonder about how many enrolled on courses for making scrambled eggs.

Intelligence is a rounded concept.

No.Intelligence has nothing to do with common sense.

There are many sub forms of intelligence.

Yes,IQ measures academic intelligence.There is music intelligence(Mozart),kinesthetic intelligence(Ronaldinio) etc.

MENSA

Who cares about that?IQ was not invented to be used by MENSA.

I never let it dominate my life.

Yes,societies react. And guess the answer to IQ dominance:It is called double standards.

I couldn't stand to be banned from Poland. The rest of the EU can go to hell. Just, I cannot lose Poland. Poland is all I have.

And this line makes me pray that you stay in Poland.

You can go to your friends... ask the local administration... rally support... and demand your right to stay in Poland.

I believe not a single Pole will want you to leave!... Who are these people to throw you out... when we (who elect them) want you to stay?

You meet your mother...and come to your Poland :)

Oh for f***'s sake, are you thick? Lodz-in-boat... aha, no, you are not thick, you are that michealmansun jerk, aren't you? Trying to bring back your false topic. Still thinking that you have hit the idiot pool?

For all of those that have read my post above and this one, please note that I am not a regular contributor to discussions, indeed am a guest, however, I am quickly becoming a regular contributor. Presently, it is very disappointing that some people get a kick out of playing on emotions, kindness and empathy of others. So Lodz-in-boat or michealmansun, or whoever the hell you are, stop your ********.

In terms of intelligence... what matters more is respect for people. Spuiking ******** is not respecting people, it is insulting them and insulting their intelligence.

To genuine people who have visa problems, read my suggestion given above within the previous post.

much sunshine everyone.

You Americans treat Europeans like **** on your borders.
Getting your fingerprints taken at JFK, being shouted at at any given border crossing because you are not US. Haven the size of your feet sent to your immigration Gestapo before you have even boarded a plane to the USA. (Heaven forbid I would ever do that, and I do not even need a visa)

But you expect us to receive you as the kings of the world? Why?
Because you are US ?
You are really mistaken.

You know what I relish on here in Warsaw? In the few moments I have to go to the Foreigner's office at DÅ‚uga 5, I always hear these Americans complaining they have to stand in line with all Ukrainians and Chinese.

And I am off the EU section where on the average nobody ever is waiting.
Get a life. Schengen is made for Europeans and not for you Yanks.

I have never had a problem crossing with foreigners. It was fast and polite. I wonder where all this Gestapo stuff is happening as I have never seen it.

So you relish people suffering because of Poland's stupid bureaucracy? Nice guy aren't you.

Guys, please... please read the thread carefully,

The person who put the question forward in the first place is not in Poland and has not overstayed and is not seeking a visa and he is certainly not wishing to see his sick mother... He said that he is an American businessman (i doubt this also) and he also insulted one of the members of the forum (marek) by calling him a "dupek" . Basically, he is taking the **** and now he is also coming online as "guest". Nice one wanker, you are still a wanker, yes.

Oh, and jerk, you give a bad name to USA since you have no bleeding idea when to quit and when to realise that you are not wanted. It's arseholes like you that incite violence toward Americans.

Good people, this is my last post as I cannot stand that jerk, he writes "Poland is all I have" and he is nowhere near Europe let alone Poland. I can guess where he "has" Poland and it ain't full of sunshine.

God Bless
