Are Polish people civilised or not? My thoughts...

Hello there - I have found Polish people especially they guys that come to Ireland to be rather obnoxious, rude and very loud and to be honest intimidating looking people, the girls on the other hand are so up themselves that its not even funny. I know they are good looking - but they appear to be quite arrogant... shaggable but not dating material. Have bedded a few of them - some who have told me they have boyfriends back home - which tells me that they are not very decent or faithful people. Good for whoring and nothing else. any thoughts? anyone? im sure many here will aggree with me!

Also do Polish migrant workers have no shame? When the work dries up - they should really look elsewhere - instead of sponging off the Irish state, Our taxes are being hiked to pay for these unemployed migrant workers...

Lot of peed off poeple here at the moment - what do the Polish people think of this? Are they embarasses???

All the best Rev

Some are and some aren't, just like anywhere. Many Poles are embarrassed with some of the meatheads and dropouts that went across but the UK and Ireland also got some top dentists and technical specialists. Some of the people that come through zawodowy school in Poland outstrip those who are products of Scottish colleges.

I don't know about the women. Some throw themselves at you but it depends if you attract it. It takes two to, um, you know, tango.

Many are arrogant though, they think they are God's gift to man. Quite pathetic and better avoided. Still, I'm lucky, I get the down-to-earth ones as a teacher. Some smart cookies who are not vain.

Just look at what the Danes, Ozzies and Belgians say about their export beer and you'll get the idea perfectly.

love the attitude, you sound arrogant yourself reverend. if you're such a saint and a decent man then why do you sleep around and then complain those women were wh*ores? you're a wh*re yourself cos you've done it as well. pot calls kettle black! so shut it.

there are many arrogant stuck up Irish people sponging off the state, are you ashamed of them? or do you think you're in some weird way superior to everyone else so you can get away with being arrogant? if Polish people claim benefits then they must've worked here and paid taxes for at least some time. blame the system for letting immigrants claim money, not the immigrants for taking it. if the money was there and you needed it then you'd take it too.

pathetic post from a pathetic person.

Justysia is right on the mark again. Good commentary!! I think a mention of vanity was warranted though, some agreement on that point ;) ;)

i never said all PL people were perfect, of course you get idiots or vain people but reverend sounds like a broken record complaining about the Poles, probably just because he's lost his job to one of them and he's on a personal crusade. such a waste of space, time and energy.

This is quite an astounding overview, of Polish People.. I really can't believe the audacity to go on Polish Forum and ask an objective opinion? To make such a generalization, makes one believe perhaps, the problem is within yourself. Lack of confidence, no self-respect ("shagging"), to assume your tax dollars are supporting migrant workers. Perhaps, present your case with facts: demographics and fiscal figures. Seanus

Impressed very diplomatic reasoning.

Well, just giving the truth as I see it. The Poles know well that they are generally underpaid here. My wage is considered to be really good but there are so many costs in life that it's no wonder they take off for greener pastures.

Are they civilised? Well, they are well-educated people (though not as high as they think, LOL) and are keen to shake off any negative stigmas attached to them. Many live modest lives in the UK and hope for a better day in their homeland. I can vouch for that, there is something to be said for wanting to return to your homeland.

I really don't think of many Polish girls as slutty. They doll themselves up like any girls but it's generally for their own pride in their appearance rather than to attract men. Some are, some aren't slutty, like anywhere.

yeh me too, I heard the benefits there are fantastic!! 200 euros for a single person! A week! Plus housing benefit and free lard tokens!
Seanus 15 | 19,672
18 Jun 2009 /  #19
I doubt that very much. 800PLN a week? That's 3200PLN a month, that's about the average wage here :)

What exactly defines civilized?
Eating with a fork and knife, wearing pants and shoes, not wiping your bum with your finger and not invading others nation based on lies to take oil?

All this can be said for all people from all walks.
You have your cosmopolitan intellectuals, silent and respectful types, the hard working, psycho and sociopaths, and your favorite, sluts.

Have bedded a few of them

(Which few, the ones you successfully chloroformed, gagged, and drug home?)

intimidating looking people

You should meet some of my Blackwater buddies; you'll see intimidating.

The girls you call sluts have feelings too you know..

;)

..and there's nothing wrong with having sex when you're single!

I'm aware of that, thanks for the reminder, Arien san :)

I think it was what my sister described as the Boris Becker appeal. I have the same colour of hair as him and am foreign to these girls.

Oh, don't even mention it, you're very welcome Seanus! Your quote was just an opportunity to voice something.

I think we all know about some hypocrits on here who think it's necessary to PM inexperienced and young ladies about how they're doing something evil, or about how they're such a slut, when in fact, those very same people have had multiple partners or casual dates themselves..

;)

Nothing wrong with that either! But why do some weaklings always feel the need to boost their shrunken ego's at the expense of someone else?

So who's brave enough to be honest today? Hmm? Does anyone care to elaborate? No? Well, have yourselves a lovely evening all together!

:)

Hypocrits.

Our taxes are being hiked to pay for these unemployed migrant workers

Blame your (Probably Irish!) employers.

;)

Are they embarasses???

Oh, and another thing, people who don't want to work at a farm, in production or at construction sites because they're too good for this sort of work when nothing else is available, that would be an embarrassment!

The Polish you talk about, work for their money because they're getting the opportunity. Now, imagine yourself when Ireland gets poor, and that there wouldn't be much work for you anymore. Would you consider working in Holland for a better wage when you were offered a job? Or would you rather be such a good patriot and sit on your ass all day, being utterly useless?

No my friend, anyone who does honest work is not an embarrassment and shouldn't be ashamed for anything.

:)

I've worked with an Irish guy in Holland eight years ago. He recieved benefits aswell for a short while. But then again, he worked for his money earlier, so that means he had paid his taxes too..

;)

In other words, he has the same rights!

What about brits coming to poland for stag/shag weekends????? I don't think i've ever met any more abnoxious people in my life!

shaggable but not dating material.

Unfortunately i have to somewhat agree with you here. Many do let themselves go way to easy with foreigners in poland as well. It's VERY difficult to find a decent girl in poland if you're a foreigner.

Also do Polish migrant workers have no shame? When the work dries up - they should really look elsewhere - instead of sponging off the Irish state, Our taxes are being hiked to pay for these unemployed migrant workers...

This part surprises me. Poles in canada are generally hard working and very few are unemployed. Other immigrants are more known for leeching off the system here...
