Need help finding a Polish song I saw on TV....

So today I was watching VH1 England, and the video stream went all wrong and we ended up getting VH1 Poland somehow. I will admit, I never realised just how cool a lot of Polish dance music is, but then I saw a video that has replayed over and over in my head all day.

Its a fast dance track, blue background, and the female singer is this really pretty girl with black curly hair. She's topless, but her arms cover her chest, and occasionally the video goes to a group of dancers in their underwear.

Now, believe me when I say that is not the reason I'm looking for this. I'm looking for this song because it was so darned catchy, and I've been humming it all day! Unfortunately, while the video coming through was great, the titles were messed up (ie, a Shakira song was billed as an Oasis one!), so I never found out what it was.

Please. Someone help me.

Wow, that's a difficult one. It may have been VH1 Poland but it doesn't mean that the song was Polish. Could have been from anywhere really. Was there anything else that happened in the video? Most dance music videos feature scantily clad females at some point so it's not really a good help ;)

Agh, shame.

Erm.... I'm trying to think.... that's about all I can remember. The singer as I said was very pretty, had black curly hair just below shoulder length, and was topless but had her arms crossed over her chest.

The video throughout had a dark blue background and nothing more, other than about 7 lingerie-clad women dancing. The song itself was so catchy, it was like a drug in audio form!

It was a very recent-looking and sounding song, and was most definately in a language that wasn't English.... I have a funny feeling that this is often played on VH1 Poland, but as they sorted the problem out I can't get access to it anymore!

I looked on youtube this morning but I don't see anything like you described. I looked at maybe a dozen videos though and there is hundreds of course. It'll be there though, I'm sure. :)

No.... what I meant was that while the video and audio stream was VH1 Poland, the text that was coming up on screen (song title, logo in the corner, what was coming up next, etc) was telling me that it was VH1 UK, that the current program was "Best Of The 90s" and that this particular song was "Blur - Coffee and TV".

After this video, there was a Shakira video, but apparently VH1 was telling me it was "Oasis - Don't look back in anger".

Basically, there must have been something wrong at VH1 HQ, because after a while, the audio and video stream went completely, but the channel logo, the song titles, everything like that, all kept coming and going.

I was in Krakow last week and heard some music in a pub that i would love to find out more about... (it was just an cd, not live performance)

It was a woman that sounded a little bit like PJ Harvey if anyone now her. She sang in Polish, i got the name at the pub but forgot it, i think her first name started with M, but i am not sure...

Can any one figure that out`?

Hmmm Maryla Rodowicz? was she young/older? what kind of music was it?

The rytem, the rifs and the sound is a bit like PJ harvey - shes a singasong musician or some would categorice it as rock. I checked your guess Maryla Rodowicz, she is not the one ;-)

So what i am looking for is an polish women/girl - rock or sing a song writer that in same category as PJ harvey, and propobly catpower...

hmm... i dont really listen to the new pl music but the first thing that comes to my mind about pj is lipnicka & poter. they sound more less like cave and harvey
