Polish health care system, my experience.

I had a dodgy situation a few months ago, some Polish dudes drunk on vodka latched onto me after i visted an Apetka in a remote part of a Polish shite hole. They were asking for money and i said no, they kept on and on then my phone rang it was my wife so i talked to her in English (game up) as they continued to walk next to me back to the car. I had recently had an operation myself and was in no way fighting fit. I ended the phone call and fronted them, they basically wanted money for more vodka and a large bottle at that, i dipped into my pockets and gave them around 6 zloty, after that i was their best friend.

I would have, but the woman at the hospital was more telling us to go somewhere else because, if we paid or not, we would have a 4 hour wait and she told us about a place that would be less of a wait.

If I had thought that paying for it would have sped the trip up then I would have, but the woman was having none of it...we were waiting 4 hours no matter what...

I do believe he explained that in the original story, we were not worried about paying, it was getting him seen that was the problem!
