cost of central heating installation in Wroclaw

Hello all

We're renovating our flat in Wroclaw and have contact with a recommended plumber. He has quoted quite a high price to us for taking out our old heating system and putting in a new one ... going from duel boilers to a combi with 6 modern radiators. New Bathroom suite as well.

Any ideas on 1: Avoiding being conned as we may seem to be rich foreigners but actually we live and work locally. 2: What such work should cost on average here in Poland.

Many thanks

can't you take his cost estimate and show it to another plumber and ask how much he would charge you?

Will do, good advice

At the moment, for taking out the whole old system and fitting a new one, materials and boiler... it will cost... 16,000...
any thoughts

how many plumbers have you talked to

where i am they are few and far between and those that are there are hard to get quotes from because A, they have loads of work and arent really in a rush for more and B, providing a quote is considered a payable service and i am reluctant to pay for this

you havent said the size of the job but i am having similar work done now and both have been 'quoted' as more than 16,000

prices of getting work done on property seems to be rising as fast, if not faster, than the cost of property itself which, at the end of the day is to be expected and is fair enough
