Polish charitable foundations

Does anyone out there know if there are any charitable foundations (in Poland or not) that would give grants to Polish projects? I have a friend who runs a very effective programme relating to regional foods here in Poland and his funding is running. It would be a real shame if it were to fold so I thought I'd see if there's anyone out there apart from the usual sources (Polish government, EU funds).... He needs about 1mln GBP over 5 years, so I know it's unlikely that it will all come for one source, but once you've got one chunk of cash, you tend to find it easier to get match funding. Any ideas?

With that soft of purpose this friend of yours may want to consider going straight to Panzer Kardinal.

Good question. There was the national orchestra just the other week.

Is giving to charity popular here?
