First of all why do people even ask questions on this forum because all they get
is mostly stupid answers, And you say McDonalds is so shit but every single McDonalds Restaurant in Poland has more than half a million customers a year so maybe do the maths.

Also I think this also eliminates another comment about Polish people not likeing to eat out because almost every Polish person I know in Warsaw eats out at least twice a week and thats almost the same as the UK.

Listen what you need to do is stand outside various locations that you feel would be good for this kind of restaurant and count how many people walk past in a 10 minute slot the divide this by 12 and this is pretty much your customer base.

I personally think that a steak house would do well in Warsaw especially because people here have alot of money and also there are alot of British, American, Irish , Australia etc here and they all love steak and I think that given half the change Polish would also like it.

And regarding beef Europe is quite a big place and Netherlands, Britain and Austria have some of the best beef you can buy also alot of the british shop import from Australia and new zealand maybe you could even import from the states.

Anyway just thought I would give you at least one sensible answer.

Hmm, I'd have to remember to stay away from bringing back that 90's trend of "hamburgery" Mafketis. I think I'll stay a little closer to my roots and grill up a good 'ol Texas-style greasy burger. I've got a few "recipes (if you'd want to call them that)" up my sleeve that I'd love to experiment with around here. Hopefully this cold spell thaws out soon and we can schedule a cookout or something for the visitors here. Man, I miss my grill. And now I need a beer.

Beer? In this weather? Are you absolutely crazy?

I haven't even thought about beer since the new year, it's just been too cold to comtemplate one...

(and you're making me hungry, the blandness of the food here gets to me sometimes...)

Poles aren't into beef as a rule, even very good butcher shops don't always have it. A natural result of this is that the beef isn't ..... great quality. I'm guessing that most beef on sale is from 'retired' dairy cattle. (when you travel you don't see herds of cows in the country side, there's an occcasional dairy cow staked out to graze).

what rubbish, in any case meat can be imported from the US or GB. I think Poles would love to hoe into a nice big steak.
