Learning Polish using audio?

Hello.

There doesn't appear to be much out there, but does anyone know of any type of audio (mp3, cd's etc) to help learn Polish. I fear i've pretty much got all that's out there that I can find from England:-

Teach yourself polish CD
Before you land mp3 (itunes)
Vocabulearn (itunes and pretty crap I think!?)
BYKI
Pimsleur comprehensive (annoying that it's only 30 lessons when Russian has loads more!)

It's all for beginners and I think I now know all these. I wondered if there's anything a little more challenging?

Otherwise I think the only option getting someone who speaks Polish to record some for you?

Thanks, Kieron.

You might talk to Polish-speakers over Yahoo or Skype, or at least listen in on public conversations there, if you're well enough along to make use of it. I haven't visited the Polish channels just yet, but I found both to be very helpful in the past when trying to improve my German. I know a bunch of people who visit this forum have Skype and sometimes volunteer to help others learn, as well.

As to the software/files you mention, my local library here (California) carries only those, unfortunately. I've checked the database as recently as yesterday even, and that's all I've seen - Pimsleur and the Teach Yourself series.

Hope some of this made sense. I'm sort of passing into opiate stupor right now and having the usual trouble typing. Good luck though, and let us know if you find something helpful! :)

[Moved from]: polish audio files, where to download them from?

Hey all,

Can anyone tell me a good website to download some polish audio files. I can only find files with like the first 10 basic words. I would like to hear proper sentences. Thanks

Merged: Polish Audio Books

I'm looking for a website or store that sells audio books with accompanying text in polish. I can already speak polish but I can't read the language. The site would have to ship to the UK, any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Empik has audio books as well. But I don't know if they ship outside Poland.
