Polson 5 | 1,768 22 Sep 2007 / #37hmm are you thankfull or sarcastic?I think i'm more thankful ;)If you don't believe me, i can look in Google now :pOkay i found it in Wikipedia, interesting story ;) so Polish, Danish, Norwegian, German...Portuguese... :p maybe Dutch LoL
bamse - | 12 22 Sep 2007 / #38Wow you are inquisitive :). Yes it's interesting story. Well everyone wants to be first ;).
Polson 5 | 1,768 22 Sep 2007 / #39LoL ;) It reminds me of another story : Count Maurycy Beniowski, he was a sailor/pirate, apparently born in Poland and claimed himself as Polish. But Hungary wants him...as another country but i don't remember which one...he pronounced himself "King of Madagascar" :p LoL
bamse - | 12 22 Sep 2007 / #40Never heard about him before or probably just don't remember. Pirates stories are boys stuff ;). But I'm inquisive too (Google rulez). Third country is Slovakia. What I found interesting is that probably Mauritius was named after Beniowski. Lol :P
Polson 5 | 1,768 22 Sep 2007 / #41That's what they say (about Mauritius), i looked for it, and it's said that Mauritius was named after a Dutch sailor... LoL
bamse - | 12 22 Sep 2007 / #42Right, right, right. Thx for correcting ;). You can never trust information from internet...
Polson 5 | 1,768 22 Sep 2007 / #43LoL ;) if you look in Wikipedia "Sillings" you will see that they gave their name to the Polish region, Silesia...don't know if it's true :p
