Life / Polish chatrooms [8]

i have lost touch with a Polish friend of mine-i know he uses a chatroom in Poland(i know this is a real longshot)which has an orange background and seemed a little simulator to myspace as it had loads of pictures of his friends on it so he could click on them if he wanted to chat or whatever.I saw him chatting on it once so i think this could possibly a good way to hunt him down!he is 20 so do you know of any possible chatroom it could be???i know there is probably thousands ..he was using mozilla firefox as well...any ideas???????????????

Love / some advice about a polish guy [12]

Hi
i met a really cool polish guy a few weeks ago-he couldnt speak a lot of english but we seemed to click really well.Unfortunately he had a tendency to be really shy as well- he worked across the road from me and used to gaze over the road at my shop all day which was very sweet.A non polish guy who actually introduced us was acting as a go between as this guy was too shy to come into the shop himself so messages were being passed back and forwards.i know this was extremely childish but i was swept away and played along with it.The polish guy went back to poland for a week.before he went i think he asked for my number but as the language thing was a bit of a prob i think i got a little confused with what he meant so i didnt give it and i have been kicking myself ever since.

the non ploish friend began coming in to the shop i work all the time talking endlessley about sebastian and how he spoke to him in poland and that he loved me...all this nonsense as i think this go between was making the whole thing up.

sebastian supposedly came back on monday and moved with his family to another job and part of london-before he went my non polish friend said he beat him up in front of his father and uncle as he didnt come to see me...i thought this was strange as i am sure this guys uncle and father would not stand by and let this guy beat him!

i was concerned and asked my friend for sebastians mobile-he gave me a number and i proceeded to try and call-no answer-sent some polish texts and eventually got a reply in polish saying i love you....it became clear it was not sebastians phone but this friend.

i think sebastian is still in poland-i think my friend was stirring things and passing on horrible messages as the last time i saw sebastian he looked very upset.i do have a telephone number for him in Poland but there are no guarantees he is still in poland so his mother may answer!I was going to get a polish friend to ring up and see if he is there or where in london he is as i would like to see him again-i can only stress this guy is extremely shy and doesnt have a lot of confidence and i think my non polish friend manipulated him a bit.

Do u think if i get someone to speak to his mother in poland that she would pass on a message?i think from what i did understand from sebastian she is a bit strict!

my friend claims its sebastians mothers number who is called paulina or something....apparently sebastians uncle gave the number to my friend!

i know how u must feel-the guy i am into went back to poland and i am not sure when or if he will return...these situations are hard but i believe in fate and if she has feelings for u she wont let u go easily and u may hear from her when u least expect it

Dont be so mean! Although ur reply is kinda funny! U may not be able to fall in love with someone online but u can get a connection with them and who is to say what goes on between two people whatever way they communicate-i think Confused certainly has feelings for this girl

I know i may seem a bit of a contradiction but it would be nice if this story had a happy ending-yes sometimes these things can be a waste of time but then again maybe this girl has a good reason for not being in touch....maybe.

actually i must say (doing a complete u turn) thta i agree with u.Just found out the object of my affections who disappeared to Poland has found himself a girlfriend and now wants to be friends - altlthough on the whole i am fairly optimistic about such things -now i am pissed off with love so Confused....prob best to put it down to experience and find someone else.I did all the running with this guy and it got me absolutely nowhere in the end!

yeah he wasnt as shy as he made out obviously!Still plenty more fish in the sea and all that!he completely wasted my time!Still prob wouldnt have worked out-he couldnt speak good english and my polish was terrible-still there is always something better around the corner!:)

no he hasnt-what gets me is that a friend of mine spoke to him last week when he was in Poland and he was saying how much he liked me etc and he came back to London last night and i get this text today.He is a little younger than me and i really think from when we were together that he wasnt that experienced in relationships as he was too scared to come to where i worked etc and he didnt like to socialise with other people etc so i am prob best out of it....if i see him though i will give him a peace of my mind though its prob pointless as he prob wont have a clue what i am saying!:) just need to let off some steam!

Wilsdengreen undergroung the other day and saw a newspaper stand for polish newspaper commenting: Do not bother if you do not know any polish.

Just reading though the threads here and there is so much anti-polish propaganda from this American dude who keeps banging on about polish women and emptying joint accounts etc!First of all i am extremely familiar with the court service in this country as i am legally trained myself and i have several friends who are lawyers etc and i have never heard about any such cases!That is not to say things like this do not happen-but i think you are really going way over the top with this and it clearly seems that you are using some personal experience to slag poles off!

what research is thisyou keep referring to anyway? where i live in north west London there is a huge polish population and i have never encountered any problems with them whatsoever.I also know Willesden Green very well and i know there are, as there is in most parts of town, newspaper stands with polish papers etc but i have not seen the same sign you have about not bothering if you are not polish.etc.

I just cant really stand this kind of attitude and hostility toward any group of people-i think that especially in London you would be hard pressed to find anyone who is 100% British-My parents were both immigrants to the UK...people of all nationalities have good people and bad people within them and this stereotyping of polish people is Ridiculous and pig ignorant!

Also why are you using the name American if you are so clearly british?Are you trying to be ironic?

American...i have a theory about u.....Feargus is you as well...your wordings and sentence construction is very very simular to eachother....just become a member of the site..you clearly have points to make..and i am not doubting your research i just dont like stereotyping of groups....in any case if some british men are gullible enough to marry someone and behave in such a naive way when it comes to money in such a short space of time then i am sorry they deserve what they get!
