Love / Discussion about Polish Men's Tempers [103]

THERE ARE NO VICTIMS, only volunteers.

amen.

If you know you're in a place where a fight is brewing then either fight or leave. If you don't leave...well then it may appear to the casual observer that you thrive on this kind of crap, unless you leave of course.

Life / Damn proud of being (half) Polish [77]

hey hey hey, don't go disrespecting those who defended their homeland, c'mon even i know that. You weren't there so don't talk like you know what went on. Too many people these days talk like they know with complete authority what the past was like without ever having been there.

Besides if those guys did attack on horseback then that is bloody admirable and courageous. I wouldn't throw the word proud into the mix cause it doesn't belong but it is still, even as a thought, something to behold.

congratulations on such a fine achievement as having at least one parent who was polish. For this you certainly put in a lot of effort, and that effort paid off.

You should also receive an ovation for all the sacrifices you made in 44 and deserve to be proud of that.

Life / How much do you HATE POLISH PEOPLE and POLAND [1260]

Your opinions are much like your dupa must be. But they are yours. It's your p!ss poor reasoning that is laughable. Sorry you don't like someone busting your bubble of entitlement issues.

Life / How much do you HATE POLISH PEOPLE and POLAND [1260]

Thats not the point. The point is many Brits including those of colour fought and died for the liberation of Poland hence a little respect thats all

Actually that is the point.

And regardless of that i'm sure if you were one of those people you'd get the respect you'd be deserving, but you weren't involved so give up the leeching already.

Language / i / a what is the difference? [12]

"a" always seems to be more like when something is in addition to, or like "i" but the next thing you mention isn't as obvious.

Of course my polish is not what others' language ability is on this board so there's an excellent, excellent chance that i'm waaaaaaay off.

*edited* I was waaaaaaay off. lol

Life / How much do you HATE POLISH PEOPLE and POLAND [1260]

Many blacks and asians fought against Hitler to free there country and they come over here with there ignorant and backward views.

Yeah i'm sure all these black and asian people said to themselves "yeah, let's go free Poland!" or "yeah let's fight against evil." People love to romanticize the past to make themselves feel better. I'm sure they had reasons to be fighting and least of their worries were some slavic people they felt no connection to.

USA, Canada / do polish girls like the canadians when they visit? [34]

Women in North America are very organized and so they can control men.

um, as much as i don't want to agree with you, you may have a point; case in point, many polish girls are lovely here but complete slags over there. consumerism has been on the rise steadily for the last 8 years here, but still there's been no dent in the great attitude of european (polish) ladies.

But even stating that, I still really don't chalk much up to feminism though, it's like machoism. I.E., in small doses i suppose it's healthy that wo/men are feminists or machoists(respectively and to a degree), but any excess is just stupidity at work.

anyway this thread has jumped the shark (much to my doing) so if you want to continue the discussion invite me to the random topic thread.

USA, Canada / do polish girls like the canadians when they visit? [34]

you are right my friend, i remember being at the top of my game back in canada- a guy had to be, then i came to europe, heck even in germany and france they make the canadian women look like they just came out of the rubbish bin. i swear the climate and the consumerism has created this female complacency in n.a. that only the mexican ladies can save the continent from.

but really a polish girl not giving some guy the complete brush off means she is treating him as a person, no more, no less and she should be treated with equal respect.

USA, Canada / do polish girls like the canadians when they visit? [34]

It's like going from rags to riches.

it's like it but not quite it. north america is severely lacking in the culture department and canada seems to head that one. maybe the ladies that are "wanting" to talk with you are either a) being polite or b) just wanting to practice their english (or test yours)

just a thought

UK, Ireland / We welcome Polish people to Britain! [224]

Do you mean that the EU grants for Poland should be used for wage increase for Polish workers?

not like you stated it, but the fact remains that the pay people are expected to work for in poland isn't enough. If it were then this mass emigration wouldn't be underway.

Anyhow i suppose this isn't the thread for it (or maybe it is) but i still feel that there is enough money in poland for better wages, it's just hiding in big pockets.

Overall you have definitely given me some food for thought. I can only (mostly) nod my head in agreement with your last post. cheers.

if calling a spade a spade is insulting, then i am very prone to insults. And you still seem to be losing your temper, cool it, it's not condusive to anything constructive. anyhow you've missed your mark for a second time-no i've no national identity in common with him. there's no reason to keep calling the guy "scum," you can't know all that much about him, but you do know that you both have something in common (you would both like to see poles return to poland and you both have a distaste for worker exploitation).

There's no money in Poland for wage increase. Can you understand that?

No i can't understand that, i can't understand how multinational companies and larger national companies can report growing profits but salaries and wages don't keep pace with either profit or inflation. I can't understand how, at a time that should be brimming with improvements thanks to e.u. grants, there is mass emigration.

I don't get it, explain it to me. I'm not terribly talented at this so i won't mind if you use only basic terms and info to start with.

What a racist scum you are. Why don't you die, scum

no, he is upset at the situation, and thinks it should be better than what it is.

Look, you played the punk on that rebuttle and you owe yourself better.

this mass immigration has done nothing to help the working man , just complete madness if he loves poles so much he should go to poland and take them with him we've built up this country through our forefathers to give better rights to our own people there are more brits on benefits now than ever before because of people being denied proper rights and yes we should have unions , that's what unions fought for so unscruplious little men couldn't exploit like you

^that is a very legitimate point^ If you're going to go on the offensive then attack the point, not the person.

You only proved that you're quick to lose your temper should anyone speak (or write) about Poles in a way you don't approve of. If you really cared so much about poles being done wrong then i gather you'd be fighting for fair wages for poles here in poland.

there are a ton of publications and online services, one of the most popular (i didn't say best) it is gumtree.com, umm timeout magazine, monster.uk, just do a web search. I worked there last year, use your polish citizenship it will go waaaaaaaay easier. Oh and look into what you need to setup a bank account, it's not as easy as in canada eh.

i have to wonder what you actually think you can bring to the table if the only things you've mentioed are that: you speak english-Wow! you have money-Wow!

You do realize that poles have been working en masse in the uk and ireland for awhile now, where (surprise!) people speak english and the euro and sterling are worth just a touch more than your currency.

Please stop acting like an ignorant north american and leave your obnoxious attitude back home. I know i'm being condescending but seriously dude, don't be twat while you're here, be respectful and try to carry yourself with some class.

History / Should goverments pull in war criminals from WWII? [33]

I would say one reason why people are not being as agresivly persued as some might wish is then the old Nurenburg trials would be in the public eye again. War crimes such as Invading countries on made up pretexts or detaining people without trial or just cause,or maybe even the torture of prisoners or deliberate aerial bombing of civilians might make certain current govts' a little uneasy to say the least.

...8,9 and 10k.o.!

isthatu has carpet bombed the correct all over this thread with that response!
