Love / How do I approach or meet Polish women [34]

Forgot to add I couldn't remove the bars as easily as the doors so that was probably the reason a girl won't stay with me in one room/apartment.

How long does it take for you to be alone with a woman in one room?

Still don't know - still testing it.. Removing doors in my apartment didn't help.

Love / How do I approach or meet Polish women [34]

I'm really anxious about giving out my phone/E-mail to guys, because you really never know what they'll do with it ...

Wait - if you afraid to give an email or phone number to a guy... how long would it take for you to be alone with him in one room...

Love / Is it typical for Polish guys to fall in love quickly? [86]

But you never know what they were thinking in their minds.

I'm tired of thinking with my own mind - my date then always ends up with watching "Pierogies" movie and going to sleep. Alone.

What?! Nobody wants to sleep with you?

Maybe "vezza" was dating me? :) There's no need to rush these things. I'm a little scared of women who think I would sleep with them on the first date. Fortunately, I have never met such a woman in my life and probably never will.

Life / Poles' tolerance towards other Races [190]

Hey, so why so many educated polish people grab a broom instead a pen and a paper?

I think there's nothing wrong with grabbing a broom instead of a pen and a paper (if you are a young person at least). In Poland I was a student and even when I was 20-22 I was doing nothing but study. Then I went to the US and started to grab a broom and it allowed me to appreciate hard work. Some people end their careers as broom grabbers, but most go on and go to school and achieve much more. So it is sometimes a good lesson.

I feel nowadays there are too many young Polish people in Poland who think doing menial jobs is something derogatory and grabbing a pen is a dream job.

Love / I fear to lose my polish boyfriend.. [44]

I once had to go through the same (but my girlfriend was American). We met on the "work and travel for international students" campus; she lived in the campus area (NY). Then I had to move to Chicago [it was easier for me to to arrange papers from there '] and since she was in a good college, she couldn't move with me (especially that I was a Polock without papers and decent job; I earned about $150 a week on the campus for 10-hr/a day/6 times a week job as maintenance / laundry / lifeguard / cleaning lad / dishwasher guy;). But we did meet a couple of times throughout the year; I was at her family on the turkey day, she was here for Christmas. But in the end, she's got a scholarship to study in Europe for two years and that's how our relationship ended. We still email each other once or twice a year to say "Merry Christmas" but that's about all. She's married now.

So, kitten, I don't know your age but if you're less than, let's say, 28, there's nothing to fear about. Even if you lose him, you'll find someone else quickly (3-5 years ;) -- just kidding; more like 3-5 months. If he truly loves you and you have "luck," everything will be fine and you'll be with him.

USA, Canada / How to stay in USA without getting married? [125]

Yep. But seriously, I know a couple of people who "did that" and they didn't have any serious problems. The most stressful part is the interview, but as long as they keep up-to-date pictures and really know many things about each other, they should be fine. One of the couples I know is still married after a year from the time the guy received the papers.. If it's the only way and the person is determined enough to be on schedule and keep/learn the relevant information, they should be just fine.

If this is moral or not, that's another story. The American teenagers have been "getting" fake IDs to go to adult clubs for ages and the government has not imposed any severe penalties for doing that.
