UK, Ireland / Irish Primary schools to teach Polish [223]

Heres the link,

On the contrary, this proves my entire point, the Polish population in Ireland carving out little Polands across the island. Why go home when you have created a replica of Poland in Ireland?

Polish language taught to your children.
Polish shops, clubs, organisations, sports teams.
Polish food and drink.
Only interact with Polish people.

Pros
Better wages.
Better welfare entitlements.
Better standard of living.

Make no mistake, this is a modern plantation of Ireland.

Mister H

I post here to get an oppossing view, so to speak. To be frank, the argument for mass immigration is **** poor at best.

The Poles are living in ghettos at present, at their own discretion I may add. There are Polish ghettos all over the country. There are apartment blocks consisting of 90% Polish nationals.

It is not something we can avoid, it is something we are living with at present.

They have no wish to integrate, if they did surely they would be learning Irish?

Piorun

Another idiotic comparison between the USA and Ireland. The USA is over 100 times the size of Ireland. The state, Montana, has half the population of Ireland yet is twice the size. You are not comparing like with like. Also, just ask the Native Americans how immigration into their country went, if you can find one.

I do play football, with the Irish lads I grew up with. I do drink beer, with the Irish lads I grew up with. I have no interest in befriending people who view my country as an ATM machine. Ireland is nation, not a charity shop for the worlds nomads.

Finally, "No Irish Wanted"signs are still alive and well, in Poland.

Over 100,000 people speak it every day in the Republic, stats are not available for the six counties. Some of the squatters up north speak Ulster Scots.

It is a shame so few speak it, mass immigration will kill the language dead. Another bit of enrichment

The prods rule NI, the Shinners take the scraps they are given. The GFA was the ultimate victory for the prods and a defeat in the fullest sense for the bearded one and his followers. And it will all come crashing down in the next few years.

I for one, cannot wait.

It is a plantation. The Irish will learn Irish, the squatters will learn French or Spanish and all will go home to their respective enclaves. A community within a community.

Just what NI needed, another ethnic group fighting for their share of the pie. Absolute bloody madness.

You predicted a violent backlash the other night, Seanus. I laughed it off at the time, but you could well be proven right.

Yes, Poland is a super power alright. We are building a second airport here in Dublin to deal with all the Irish people emigrating to the super power that is Poland.

Cop on, it is as relevant as Austrian. Not at all. The only reason it is becoming main stream in the UK and Ireland is because Polish citizens are entering en masse.

English,German, and French are the only three languages worth a wank in the EU.

Sinn Fein assembly members. Gerry Adams and has band of merry men(and women).

The only way to learn a foreign language is to try and speak it on a regular basis. Forty minutes writing it every second day wont achieve much(we only remember 10% of what we are taught).

Foreign exchange programmes should be introduced. If a child spent a month in France, doing schoolwork in French, I guarantee their skills in that language would improve ten fold.

Seanus

How many times do I have to repeat this, there is no chance in hell of Irish kids learning Polish. The catholics will learn Irish, the prods will learn French, Spanish, German or Ulster Scots. The only ones learning Polish will by the children of Polish parents.

You can take that to the bank.

Its not as a clear as you make out, no, but I am using simple terms as readers here will not be very clued in on the situation.

Anyway, NI needs mass immigration like a hole in the head. Eventually it will reach breaking point. If the Poles had any interest in integrating they would be happy for their kids to learn Irish, instead they push for their native tongue to be taught in schools.

Two tribes have been at war for generations, another tribe entering the fray will hardly help tensions.

Immigrants whine about their rights, they are treated better than citizens if truth be told. Yet we never hear them harp on about their responsibilities.

Shite like this might work in the multicult hellhole that is the UK, but in Ireland it will be a different tale. Ireland seems as liberal as any western nation on the surface, but in reality.......

I dont know, it is unclear in the article. If some Pole forced my little brother to learn Polish, it would not be good for his health. This will be in tomorrows papers(RevokeNice with the latest scopes) I will let you know of any update.

More Poles on welfare here than the woolie woolies. 50,000 on 204 euro a week and rent allowance, medical cards, child benefit, council housing etc etc

They are a drain on our economy. They pay fook all tax as anyone on less than 35,000 euro pays no income tax only PRSI. They shop in their own shops and drink in their own pubs. They smoke imported smokes from Poland. They contribute nada, zilch, fook all.

Whats the problem, I will tell you what the bleeding problem is pole, the sheer volume of you lot in my country. The sheer number of you lot bleeding the economy dry, you view Ireland as an ATM. It is not, it is a sovereign nation and is better off without you poles.

Scared of foreigners, moi, vous êtes idiots. J'aime d'autres cultures, je méprise l'immigration de masse.

Go away you cultureless cretin. What foreign languages can you speak? You seeem to struggle with simple English. Your spelling and grammar is atrocious.

I find those who throw around the race card and the most ardent supporters of the multicult and mass immigration to be monoglot fools who wouldnt know culture if it bit them in the hole.

UK, Ireland / Recruitment agencies advertise for Polish only workers [162]

ShelleyS

The British trade union movement has been smashed, thanks to mass immigration. No wonder big business and the government are cheerleaders of the multicult. Sickening.

The champagne socialists try and unite the workers, foreigner and native, when it is obvious to anyone with a brain that the foreigner is no friend of the native worker. The foreigner brings down wages and conditions while pushing up rents and prices. Champagne socialists make me sick.

Blacks originate in Africa, they are not indigenous to Ireland, African Irish is what they term themselves. South African President Zuma, has said this week that the whites in SA can never be real Africans. Is he a racist too?

Sean Sean Seany Sean, I am banned from no forum. Join up and ask.

As per usual you are avoiding the question, what foreign languages do you speak, monoglot? You cannot even speak your own native tongue and abandoned your country for a bit of foreign muff.

It wouldnt matter a bollix to you if Polish was on the cirriculum or not, as you wouldnt be able to learn it even if you wanted to.

Budu ignorovat jste od této chvíle, jak jste blázen.

Wie ist die Sprache nützlich?

Seanus

Yes, yes it is beeing imposed on us. The mere presence of hundreds of thousands of Poles in my land, has been imposed against the democratic wishes of the Irish people. Indeed, 69% of the Irish people want them gone.

There are less than 1,000 Irish in Poland. Fact. There is no need, or indeed a want, to learn Polish here. The only ones who will take the opportunity to learn the language are the children of Poles. At the expense of the Irish taxpayer, as per usual. If the Poles want to teach their kids Polish, fine. Do so at home, or preferably in Poland. Where they belong.

Primary school lessons last for under five hours per day, it is a waste of time and resources. The time could be spent on more valuable subjects, this is the Polish lobby in Ireland sticking their oar in.

The Loyalist reaction will be intriguing, they sure know how to endear themselves to the local population, do these Poles.

We wouldnt have over a million foreigners here, thats for sure. We would have control of our own destiny. Oh, and we wouldnt be allowing the EU free access to our waters. The EU has taken more out of Irish membership, than has given. Access to our waters nets the EU billions per annum. Over 50% of all fish consumed in the EU comes from Irish waters.

More to the point, what the fook has Poland given Ireland. Using your logic we should tell them to sod off.

Oh, and just to complete my ickle survey, another monoglot are we? What languages do you speak?

Seanus
Do you smoke drugs? Sean, this is optional, NO IRISH PERSON WILL BE LEARNING POLISH! ONLY POLISH CHHILDREN.

SeanBM
Bye Seany boy, come back to me when you learn a few foreign languages and make foreign friends other than Poles. Maybe then you can call me a xenophobe. Maybe you can go back to primary school and sit in with the Polish children, they might help you with your ABCs and 123s. You might learn a bit of Polish too. You can do it, Seany. Mazel Tov!

More useful than German or French or Italian as far as I can see. My friends daughter just left her primary school to begin attending high school. Her Mum asked her if she was going to miss primary and she said yes etc and then said she wished she had learned Polish rather than began learning French. She had Polish children in her class and even an 11 year old could see it would have been better to have learned Polish rather than French.

But more people speak French than Polish. Its is used to carry out international business. Tell me what real benefits this will have for Irish students, not just a warm feeling they will get inside from the "multicult" experience, convince me, if you do I will sign my little brother up. :)

I want nothing to do with the EU experiment and hopefully the Irish people vote no in the upcoming referendum.

I fail to see how teaching Irish children Polish is beneficial. It is a waste of taxpayers money and could be put to better use.

What do you mean by the new Irish by the way?
