You can't tell them you are digging. Hide the trap door that leads to your sanctuary shelter. They will never find you or your food if you are cautious and thoughtful.

As for the rain, z___Darius, we would need a room that's a bit deeper and lower than the others to create what I call "the inground swimming pool effect" The water would collect at the deep end of the pool while he waits at the shallow end where it's dry. The room would be the deeper end of the pool and it's only use would be to collect the rain water. It would slowly seep into the earth.

If you have a one day warning of the war, go rob the liquor store, pharmacy and supermarket...And get an early start...

There wouldn't be any warning. It would just happen out of the blue. Governments wouldn't warn because they would worry about looting, rioting and civil unrest. It would just happen and if you are lucky enough to live far away from the strike zones (if there is such a place and the entire country you live in doesn't get nuked by five hundred H bombs) you might be able to secure a place underground. What I would do is start digging and stockpiling. You can dig a space in your backyard. Make sure you aren't close to any sewer or gas pipes, or any wires and cables. You can dig down about fifty or sixty feet and start tunneling around. Once you get that task accomplished you can take some cement and build your own fortress beneath earth.

What you got to do is figure out how long any fall out will linger in the air. Get enough bottled water to last throughout that time. Figure out where you will go to the bathroom and what you will eat. Put lots of candles and matches down there too. Get ready to sit in for the long haul. You can do it but only if you have a plan.

Also Pennboy...it was your European ancestors who started the race mixing. I think your post is about 200 to 300 years too late.

That is something that Europeans tend to ignore although you have to remember Polish and other slavs weren't among the major colonizers.
Britain, France, Spain,The Netherlands and certain Scandinavian countries, not to mention Portugal all contributed to multiculturalism spreading their language, culture, and people all over the world :)

Yes whites are. If we were not indoctrinated by the education system and the media, there would be no reason for us to allow coloured people to immigrate here and the rest of Europe.

You are forgetting why there are so many coloreds in the US. It's because idiots brought them here as slaves.

From a behavioral standpoint and sociological/cultural standpoint; there is nothing more natural than ethnocentrism and not associating with foreign people.

The best situation are places with mixes of people all living together. That way they get used to what each other are like, used to dealing with each other so they are better socialized.

Not associating with people from other places would result in inbreeding, wouldn't it? Populations that are cut off from the rest of the world are inbred, aren't they? How else are they going reproduce?

If there is anything unnatural in this world, it is placing people from all over to world to live in one country. This is like some sick reality show.

Most people who move to the US from other places have done really well. The ones who have done the worst are the blacks and Mexicans, sometimes.

Castanea, I betcha anything your ancestors emigrated to America from some place else.

It's amazing how only whites are expected to embrace multiculturalism.

Why is it you think caucasians from Britain, France, Spain, and Scandinavia have not shoved their culture down the throats of indigenous people all over the world. Whites always seem to forget that. In the US the official language is English. What language is it people learn when they come here? Is it Ebonics or is it English? You seem to forget that fact. Whites have done much of the past multiculturing when they colonized much of the world.

This is getting rediculous, she's going for a couple of weeks on holiday....she's going to be with her boyfriend all the time...I'm sure she will have a lovely time.

I think she should go and see what it's like, yeah. I would feel weird if I was the only one tho. That's just me. Who knows, she might LOVE it there. You never know until you go and see in person.

Does anyone want to be the only one? I don't mind being in an area that has many races all together but I don't want to live in an area that is just one race unless I am the same race unless I know for a fact the people aren't insane and most of the time they are.

Well, I got to say this to the poster of this thread...anytime anyone goes someplace that is mostly made up of one ethnic group or race, it would be a different experience. Me, for instance, am caucasian, I'll be honest I am nervous when I am in an all black area. It's because I know I stand out. It's the same with other ethnic groups, like if I go into an asian restraurant and everyone eating and working there is Asian, I do feel sorta strange, especially if they are all speaking in a language I don't know.

I suspect if I were black going to an all white area I would feel the same. It's because you know you have to work harder to fit in and they instantly know at first glance you are different.

So yeah, I would say it's normal to be nervous in that situation. Typical reaction.

In general as a black in Poland you would have some tough time (especially in smaller towns), as a black woman you should be veeery careful (because for some morons you would be kind of delicacy)...

Filios, it makes me wonder. The origin of the species has always intrigued me. It seems logical that we all have our origins in a handful of whatevers..whatever it is we evolved from lol. At one time it must have interbreed. Look at us now. All 6 billion of us! You can't tell by looking, can you?

That would be cool because then I would have my own tribe. We could stay in Meramec Caverns. We could dig out an extensive civilization underground like in The Twelve Monkeys. I would need the man to be an engineer of some kind who is good at design and the women would have to be able to build.

Who would want to hit a desert with a nuke, HB?

It's not impossible that a desert wouldn't be hit, but it is improbable. I would want to be far away from any military bases and wouldn't go to New Mexico.

I would still go with a cave in a desert or Missouri, or maybe a missile silo in
Adirondack State Park, New York. I would try to find something underground that had a system of tunnels.

If a nuclear war happened I would find a cave in the Mohave desert and stay in it. I figure I might be okay there because who would want to hit a desert with a nuke? I might be far enough away to avoid fallout sickness too. Maybe my cave would have a stream in it?

You cannot compare Britain to Poland anyway because Poland wasn't the imperial power Britain was. How can you compare the two? Aren't many of your "minorities" from countries that were once colonies of Britain?

Sorry, but I chuckle at the incredible irony whenever I see British complaining about immigrants.

There's no such thing as permanence. Look at history. It's all about invaders after invaders. Has anything ever stopped it? They come from Asia and Africa if you are European.

North and South America got theirs from Asia and Europe. Native Americans originated in Asia and crossed the Bering Strait thousands of years before the first Europeans, Vikings, arrived.

Right now Britain is being peacefully invaded and if you are going to be invaded, peacefully is the best way. Britain has done it's share of invading, lest you forget.

Nation states are successionist anyway. We are one world, one people.

We don't want a President who acts like a jerk.
Everybody would hate him and we'd be back to Bush one. (instead of square)
