They have been at every small and large tourism expo throughout the world. They have many co-exhibitor from every area in Poland advertising the country

They have tons of info that you can find at any of these shows or from their website listed above.

sorry but you hit a soft spot on me, moja kochana works for the polish tourist organisation and I don't get to see her about one week out of every month because of these expos.

also if you want to know more or see the brochures that they are producing, attend an expo or give me an email address and I can get some people in touch with you that will get you the info you want.

Travel / Isn't Warsaw a Sh*thole? [20]

I just got back from Warsaw, old town and new town are both beautiful with great little places to walk and eat. However, i will agree that many of the communist buildings are an eye sore. The new bridge is beautiful but had trouble finding a road to get to it, what is up with that?

not offended and yes they have a lot of issues, they did just put out a commercial that was on BBC and CNN. It needs a lot of work. Just want to let you guys know that they do have people out there pushing the country.

I am about to head out on my third trip to poland this year and will make atleast 3 more I love the place, of course i have a well educated tour guide with extras :)

Love / Dating a girl from Poland, ready to settle down, USA [3]

i have been dating a girl from poland for the past 11+ months (i am from the States). It has been great with the expected problems of a long distance relationship. She took a six month leave from work and is moving here in a couple of weeks. We are doing this in an attempt to see how we will live as a "real" couple. we are in our mid to late twenties and ready to settle down. Now here is the "what do you think is the best course of action" We have both made several trips to each other. I have been 4 times to poland and she has been here 3 times. She has a ten year tourist visa that allows her to stay for six months at a time. I am afraid that with the frequent travel and then the long stay in the US, that she will not be allowed back in the US when she tries to re-enter in 6 months. We have discussed it and want to get married but don't want to have to do it on the US government time frame. We will do it before she leave if we have to but would rather do it next summer when both families will be able to attend it no matter if it is in poland or the US. We will get married, we know this but just think it sucks that it has to be on the US government's time frame. Does anyone know if there is another way or if we are over concerned about her re-entry in 6 months?
