UK, Ireland / 800K of Polish immigrants in UK don't pay taxes -what do the poles think [190]

Who cares about some people opinions about immigrtion. UK/Germany/France can't expell immigrants ... because they don't have enought children. They can try to play "divide and rule". We can listen to some moaners but honestly they don't have choice. They have to learn some rules of multicultural country with bad and good sides :) The funniest thing is that they don't have a choice because of their low level of reproduction.

repressions aimed on one group of immigrants stop assimilation of other groups because it is chain.

History / The Jewish King Of Poland [67]

Sorry but you are in historic denial. OK, let analyze this case step by step.

Was system eficient before 3rd may constitution ?

Yes it was in 1500s and partly in 1600s. In 1700's it was caricature of old system and I wouldn't call it democracy or whatever. It was rather kind of authoritarism when single person could stop wole work of parlament.

When we look on sysytem just before 3rd may constitutuion and just after we can see that after it Poland was much closer to democracy than it was in at the begining of 1700's but we can argue about 1500's.

LOL ! Amazing that this total moran laughs at other people. This worthless imitation of a woman would starve If was a Goy.

It is, what majority of Poles think about some people in this country.

Church is not ally against foreign system or occupator any more. Yes durring occupation it was more or less independent institution where you could listen different opinions about reality. Now we are going back to roots.

More liberal than Holland, who r u trying 2 kid?

It depends what do you mean by liberal.

You disappoint myself. In this thread I just showed your misinterpretation of Polish history. You don't argue with my statements, because these are just historic facts. If you want to talk about democracy itself then open new thread. I did not make any analyzes of political systems in this topic.

Being concious that your views are not well known in Poland :) I dodged form debate about system. If you want we can make new thread and dicscusse it there. In my opinion in frist half of 1700's we were close to something much different than democracy. 3rd may consitution was step in democratic direction. When we look on futher plans of it's authors we are sure what they wanted to do after abolishing veto.

Do you

Also unlike you, I don't care who has Jewish roots, so you don't need to empathize this when you discuss with me.

Why not ? It is thread about Jew.

It is from your profile. I am not surprised you try to prove that democracy isn't good system when your far right-wing political fraction is famous form strange views on different issues. Showing the best Polish achievements in strange light proving that democracy is mistake (yes I know that you don't like democracy).

You know what, just watch what Kazimera Szczuka (Jewish roots) have to say about people like you ;) You will see Poland is going to be the most liberal country in europe :) like it was in 1500s.

Seanus banking system doesn't work as you think. Maybe you should change your sources, Catholic Church in your case isn't worst option. :> much better choice than president of Iran. *smile*

Going back to main subject of this discussion

I totally agree with Osiol

History / The Jewish King Of Poland [67]

No,they all lived in the same country, hardly "together" though.....

It is redneck's version (Jewish, Catholic, Protestant)

How would it be possible when in some moments half of Polish parlament was protestant. To avoid this legendary Jewish king ;) how it would be possible when Jews formed some military units in Polish up-rises.

it is not true. esp, Polish nobility had close relationship with Jews... (Jews were colecting taxes etc.)

Spoken like a true Jew, always commenting on riches and wealth.

That kind of talk will lose u friends in many circles but u r chosen by God so I guess u couldn't care, right?

Scotish anti-semite... live your own life.

How elites could become stronger with liberum veto around?

Magnats were stronger in 1500s or 1700s ?

On other hand they needed to bribe one nobleman to block developments they disliked

When was the first time when veto was used in way that parlament couldn't continue it's work ? :)

You are inconsistent here. 3rd May Constitution reduced 'democracy'.

Why ? :) because it abolished liberum veto ?

Zaleski?...cousins of my mother are named Zalewski!...I will have to ask her about them since I haven't seen them for years...I didn't realize that there were really rich Zalewskis in France...Interesting...There was a great middleweight champion of the world from the US in the late 40's named Tony Zale (Zalewski)...He fought some brutally tough fights against Rocky Graziano back in the day.

zalweski is good name ... noble. As I know when you want to change your surname it is not possible to take: Radziwił, Zaleski etc...

I work for Polish bankers - Zaleski family (Polish immigrants good chrisitian people ;) ), 5th place of the richest people in France. They decided to build new bank in Poland. I help them :)

You know Polish nobility tradtionaly had good relations with Jews ... all in all Jews were always colecting their taxes ;)

History / The Jewish King Of Poland [67]

America is in crisise as whole west... like always people like you try to prove that has something to do with Jewish bankers.

Yes a lot of Jews are bankers...

Poland is nice example of democracy superiority. In 1500s Poland was strong (Jews Protestants Catholics were living together)

Later elites became stronger and system became weaker.

Poland was able to reform system Polish king was freemasson ;)

but our authoritative neighbours couldn't accept country with such rights because it would be a problem for their authorative rulers. (we are going back to world and stronger countries imposing their rules of game)

going back to system ... something what used to work in 1500s later stoped to work because power was transferred form middle class to small group of people on peak and they were native Poles. 3rd may constituion was good idea but it was to late and enemies were to strong ...

going back to USA ... they need reforms but whole idea good.

I only wated to sugest that Poland have interesting history. King was chosen in elections and everybody could be king ... there was religious freedom and tolerance... what is more Poland was inspiration for authors of american constitution.

History / The Jewish King Of Poland [67]

Saul Wahl's story is one of the most intriguing of all the legendary stories concerning Polish Jewry. It is said that he occupied the throne of Poland for a single day, August 18, 1587. During his brief time serving as Polish royalty, he supposedly enacted numerous laws protecting the Jewish population of Poland.

Nice and interesting legend.

Law / Ikea suspends all investments in Poland [35]

How many foreign business's are in the mall?

I am not against all foreign companies :) I am sure there is KFC and Nike (made in china with stakeholders in Saudi Arabia I havent checked this data just joke ):)

Sometimes I buy products from countries where Polish products are popular. :)
I'll never buy products form country where Polish products are not popular or someting is wrong in our contacts :)

Seeing as u like statistics, u've misspelt it three times, just for the record.

Oh, btw, we don't pluralise furniture to furnitures. Pieces of furniture, yes.

Come on preacher man, tell me all about economics. It was one of my weaker subjects at Uni so, like a Ferengi, I'm all ears.

Why I should teach you. It is enought you teach Poles here - where they shouldn't buy :)

Life / Freemasons in Poland [41]

PS: A lot of people responsible for the Polish May Third Constitution, which BTW was the first constitution in Europe and second in the world (yes, i just had to write this ;D ), were in fact freemasons. Amongst them, the last king of Poland, Stanisław Poniatowski.

exactly :) here is topic for Joepilsudski.

First modern constitutuion in europe (second after USA) :) Poland ... Polish free massons job :)

illuminati ;) new world order :)

Another interesting fact ;) maybe not directly about free masons but ... ;)

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_Brethren

Most of Polish Brethren moved to the Netherlands, where they greatly influenced European opinion, becoming precursors to Enlightenment. Through their connection to Enlightenment thinkers, their ideas also influenced the Founding Fathers of the United States.

Law / Ikea suspends all investments in Poland [35]

Swedish IKEA halted all of its investment projects in Poland due to stipulations in the act on large space stores, which hinders development of such outlets. Despite earlier announcements, the government did not uplift the law left by the previous government.

Move in good direction. What kind of investment is that. Shop? sucking out money.

News / The Polish president, Lech Kaczynski, refused to sign the Treaty of Lisbon [43]

I does have a lot to do with european integration and deal. Poles let enter Tescos Lidls only because old EU let us work there and gave us donations. We could let Americans open their walmarkts in Poland.

We had no cash on our own investemnts becuase of communist system.

Polish retaliers are stronger and stronger and started to be competitors (good article in May Forbs about situation on Polish market) but still ... you make good money here.

It is how europe works, when Poland will be stronger and will start help others and take profits like you have here.

Poles in their history were nationalists in shops ... it is nothing new... series of articles in press small re-brainwash and Tescos are empty ...
