Thank you for the reply. For what it is worth I agree with you. Nations should be sovereign; forcing nations into one homogeneous mass is wrong.

What is it with the progressives? One one hand that champion diversity when it comes to race but eschew it when it comes to nationalism.

The direction of Poland should be for the people of Poland to decide.

Nationalism and peace are not mutually exclusive.

Americans are the victims of their political system, so proud called "Democracy."

Perhaps; I've heard this sentiment over the years. Even with greater frequency now.

It's high time for them to change this monolith and allow more independent people manage their lives.

I'll manage my own life.

In the US, there are so many nationalities that the common denominator such as belonging to one nation is not present. Therefore, such non-homogenous society cannot have to many parties, because if that was the case, you would have a civil war or divide the country into many independent countries.

I am curious, did any of events that you state above, specifically the influx of other nationalities, ever happen to Poland?

If so, when and what was the result?

Its not logical move, if Russia wants to pledge with other Slavs in order to secure future of Slavic civilization.

IMO this is what needs to happen if the past is to heal, this is how civilized Slavic people show respect for each other

There are good examples of well functioning public health systems (France or Germany) but they are not widely publicized in the US media.

The examples I'd like to see analysis on are the systems implemented by Singapore and Switzerland.

i live in the US, in the deep South where Republicans rule. Not everybody agree with GW Bush politics, but people respects him as i have never heard anybody talking badly about him.

I live in the Midwest and find that Bush bashing has been a sport since 2001. Here in Illinois, especially in the bluest of blue areas Chicago, the bashing continues to roll on today.

Whether you agree or disagree with Bush there should some sort of respect paid to the man.

Unfortunately in this ever increasing secular society, where man made laws supplant Judeo-Christian teaching, and where the State is the God, respect for life, property, and equality just keeps on diminishing..
