polishcanuck 7 | 462 1 Sep 2009 / #2I've seen such books in a couple of book stores in poland but i can't remember any titles. Here's a website you could look though: stalus.iq.pl
JulietEcho 3 | 100 1 Sep 2009 / #4- I would look on allegro.pl, but that depends if you're willing to spend any money on it...
sjam 2 | 541 4 Sep 2009 / #6Try looking on this website:warszawa1939.pl/index.phpYou will find many such photos :-)Ryszard Mączewski who runs the site would be able to give you a list of Warsaw photo books showing pre-war city.

sjam 2 | 541 6 Sep 2009 / #8Unfortunately ul. Pańska 28, is not on Ryszard's great site. It was not a building that had any architectural merit so wasn't photographed as a destination point of interest. Although I have a photo of ul. Pańska 28 from 1945 which shows it was pretty much destroyed during the Rising 1944. It was never rebuilt though a shiny office block now stands on our site.
