Are you joking? The city was renamed not in 2003, but after the stalin death....Well, it's a monsterous lack of knowledge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!

It's not a political aspect. I know, that for your ears, Tsaritsin sounds like a name honored Tsar, but you are wrong, it was named so because of river Tsaritsa flowed through tht city. This river was very pleasant, and in according with russian language, the world butiful has a sinonim Tsarskiy, so it was nemed Tsaritsa.

In this case Tsaritsin and Volgograd are both equal.
