That Europe would had been better off in the end without a Poland?

If germany did not exist (or was not such an ass) Poland would today be the most powerful - most influential - and possibly richest coutry in Europe. After 1500AD her neighbours felt intimidated vulnerable and most of all jealous of Polands military - social - scientific and economic achievements.

I can see why Germany (the child that it is) did not want Poland to exist :)

It will never become more complicated than that.

huh? Yugoslavia at one time was one country

it wasn't always Yugoslavia the way you and Crow knows it.

all you did was make stuff up to fit your own silly views

I presented websites to back up my point

just like crow:)

nope, Crow and his world is also your world where all of you post communist bastards come together and just feel fine like a fish in the water.

case of invading your neighbour

just like you and your ex owner the Soviets in Czechoslovakia?

Germans felt exactly the same, thank you for your understanding! :)

nope, you forgot that what they can you can not!!!lol

Germany always made up problems

are you German sokrates? You're making up problems constantly on this forum, lol.

Well...now it seems it was only Tito's iron fist which did held the many different people together (kind of like the soviet empire).

But the thing is, BB, it cannot be compared to the Soviets because the provinces are too small. The SU was much bigger.
Something as small as Yugoslavia could have stayed together like it did under Tito.

Yes and i debunked your website as biased and unreliable with several sources, as basic as wikipedia or as advanced as works on archeology but you still clinged to your silly little opinions :))

advanced as works on archeology

who did this "advanced work on archeology", Poles?

but you still clinged to your silly little opinions :))

of course or you believe that just because you named yourself "Sokrates" it makes you automatically as smart as he was? you're a joke.

Germany accusing Serbs for start of WWI, Russia accusing Poland for WWII. Is this some kind of bad joke or some deal?

if they are united in accusing us, maybe Poles and Serbs have to unite their efforts in order to survive.

Let`s declare neutrality on current military alliances. Why Poland wouldn`t send call to Serbia to join in Visegrad Four group and then we cn transform Visegrad group into the Sarmatian alliance.

Lets refuse to died in silence. Lets live!

Although Putin and Medvedev were not really serious in their threat to point missiles at Poland, they have to be careful. The thing with Russia is, they play poker well. Putin, for all his foibles, is a skilful tactician and he knows that the Balkan state of Serbia isn't a Baltic state so he loses interest. Putin is still very interested in the Caucasus and Baltic states. He glorified Stalin which makes me question his sanity.

He glorified Stalin which makes me question his sanity.

The thing is Sean you're a Westerner, when i tell my friends from Germany or UK "you dont know shite about Russians" they laugh, you guys are absolutely clueless as to how Russian minds work.

While its true that there's reasonable Russians Russia is a place which grew up in completely different reality, for you these people might as well come from Mars.

Let`s declare neutrality on current military alliances. Why Poland wouldn`t send call to Serbia to join in Visegrad Four group and then we cn transform Visegrad group into the Sarmatian alliance.

Seriously Crow what can Poland gain on an alliance with Serbia?

Some of us read history, Sokrates :) Have you read Solzenitzhyn's Gulag Archipelago? It's quite clear how some Russian minds work, it's not black magic you know!?

Have you read Solzenitzhyn's Gulag Archipelago?

Boring like hell but guess i can appreciate it.

it's not black magic you know!?

The way Western Europe does business with Russia you'd think it is.

I think he summed up the feelings of many Russians under the oppressive regime then. Yeah, it was worse than watching paint dry or potatoes grow but he got his sentiments out into the open by slipping under the radar.

Well, I don't speak for business people. They have their own agendas. Russians have more cunning, they are not afraid to be sly. Americans are more direct in their approach.

And vice versa. Every "planet" after all has itc pros and cons. Certainly you can tell what works better personally for you but you never can generalize.
Sokrates 8 | 3,345

I didnt say it in the context that Russians are worse in some general way but you have to admit what makes you country tick is mind boggingly alien to westerners.
Sasha 2 | 1,083

is mind boggingly alien to westerners.

Not surprising at all, considering the ages under the "Iron Curtain" but thing are slowly getting better. More and more people go abroad, learn foreign languages, learn other people's culture. That opens both our mind so that we may take a sober look at what's happening in our country and yours so that you don't see us as barbarians living in place always buried under snow, bears and balalaykas. :)

Solzenitzhyn's Gulag Archipelago

This is 'MUST READING' for anyone who wants to understand what happened in Russia, and how cruel the human mind can be.

Boring like hell but guess i can appreciate it.

Wrong! It is most interesting reading.

I would also recommend "The Captive Mind" by Czeslaw Milosz. I'm not sure if westerners can totally comprehend it though.

Poljaci

better annul Kosovo recognition and correct it what that traitor Tusk did to Racowie. Better support Serbs while isn`t too late.

Who would help you Poels in time of your need? Who, if not Serbians?

Who would destabilize Russia if Russia moves against Poland? Serbs, of course.

Who would volunterely fight for Poland if Germany attacks Poland? Serbs, of course.

Who can defend Polish interests on Balkan, in south-eastern Europe better then Serbs?

you think Hungarians? They are Austrian/German player, on the first place.

Croatia? They are exclusively German player.

Slovenia? No they aren`t German player but they are German toy. Promissed German gift to Greater Croatia and they live in fear. Germany simply controls that fear.

Bulgaria? They are sometimes Russian, sometimes German player. But i think that when it is necesery and when desire so, Germany controls it.

Albania? They are Turko-Germano-Italian player. Sublimation of their interests.

Romania? They are sublimation of Russo-Franch interests in the region but, when the moment comes Russia fully controls it.

but Serbians. They are Sarmatians to the core, they wait for Poland. Serbs regard Russian interests when those interests aren`t on the account of Poland. Serbian stance on Russians strongly depend from Russin stance on Poles. So, Serbs are only nation in the region which don`t obey to anybody. That`s why from time to time all powers punishing us.

What is it Poles? You wants to live forever? to died in silence regarded as sub-people from your false friends on so called west? to did in eternal fear from Russians?

i say, its better to chose to defend your authentic interests. And what is it? life in dignity, i would say. Yes, independance too.

You see, you need Serbs.

Good news is that Serbians still stand. Bad news is that they won`t be able to endure without dirrect Polish intervention.... and, for start that is... just annul Kosovo recognition and leave other things to us. Serbs knows that Poland was manipulated and blackmailed to recognize separation of Kosovo. Serbs are aware that Poles aren`t happy for stubbed us in the back. Serbs knows eveything...

just annul Kosovo recognition.

Seriously Crow what can Poland gain on an alliance with Serbia?

you would like to learn that?

in short... Serbs are only thing that can make that Poland become superpower. Only Serbs can help to Poland in this matter. Only Serbs. Those who killing us, on the long run killing Polish hopes.

Who would help you Poels in time of your need? Who, if not Serbians?

I always wondered about that...can you tell me some examples when Serbia came to Polands help?

Who would destabilize Russia if Russia moves against Poland? Serbs, of course.

When ever had Serbia "destabilized" Russia? And if you want to how would you try to achieve it?

Who would volunterely fight for Poland if Germany attacks Poland? Serbs, of course.

Erm....

Who can defend Polish interests on Balkan, in south-eastern Europe better then Serbs?

What are polish interests in the Balkan?

Germany simply controls that fear.

How???

...but Serbians. ...they wait for Poland

Do do what exactly???

to died in silence regarded as sub-people from your false friends on so called west?

Last time I looked the country looked very much alive and flourishing...not some isolated pariah...

to did in eternal fear from Russians?

I wouldn't call it "fear" :)

You see, you need Serbs.

For what exactly?

just annul Kosovo recognition

And then? What would that change???
Would that make a serbian tiny minority a majority again?

Isn't it rather so that YOU want something from Poland but can give nothing back...why don't you start with "destabilizing" Russia in the meantime!

Sokrates:
Seriously Crow what can Poland gain on an alliance with Serbia?

you would like to learn that?

in short... Serbs are only thing that can make that Poland become superpower

You are just now BEGGING Poland to annul the Kosovo recognition as you can't even do a darn thing for yourself in this case but you promise Poland you can make it a super power???? Yeah...suuuuuuuure..

Those who killing us, on the long run killing Polish hopes.

What hopes would that be?

Serbs were not able to hold together Yugoslavia, they need help I'm sure but helping back - stop kidding yourself Crow!

Who would help you Poels in time of your need?

NATO.

Who would volunterely fight for Poland if Germany attacks Poland?

And why would Germany out of the blue attack Poland?

Who would destabilize Russia if Russia moves against Poland? Serbs, of course.

Yes i'm sure your mighty economy ... oh wait.

Who can defend Polish interests on Balkan

We have no interests on the Balkans, none whatsoever.

in short... Serbs are only thing that can make that Poland become superpower.

How? To achieve power through alliance you have to ally yourself with a nation thats either large and strong or has a potential to become such, Serbia is neither large, nor strong and it doent have potential to become so either.]

Serbs are aware that Poles aren`t happy

Yes Crow most of us including me did support Serbia on the Kosovo issue but we're not that much into all the post Yugoslav mess to lose any sleep over it all.

A typical Russian is one with nationalistic sword in hand drained in domestic blood physically and psychological by the slavery throughout the centuries from within and beyond. There is no greater complex on this planet than that of a Russian so proud yet so feeble.

I only find accuracy in your inferiority complex.

You romanticize and celebrate the very political establishment that murdered your citizenry by the millions and now you let your rights and natural resources be held hostage by authoritarian hands that don’t distribute the wealth appropriately – you are the ultimate example of a people mired in slavery and living with a complex that centuries forth may never erode.

I only find accuracy in your inferiority complex.

Of course that's the only thing you can get and that was quite clear from the very first words of yours. :) You could have just said "Russians are a**holes" and that would have been enough to get your point. Your new message had really nothing new in it to elaborate. It only showed:

1) Your dislike towards Russians (presumably because of bad things my country has done to Poland).
2) Your drastic absence of any will to comprehend Russia.

So first item I may try to fix asking for a pardon (which I easily do, not expecting any apologies of yours for Polish moves against Russia, since I do not have any inferiority complex) on my country's crimes. However I can't any help you with the second one.

Sasha, from having many discussions, I can tell that many Poles having nothing against your average Russian. You can understand why some Poles would be angry but it's not a major thing. The young ones know that politics produces such undesirables and speak well of Russian people.

WWII, definitely not Poland's fault tho, sorry.
Przemas 1 | 101
15 Jun 2009 /  #268
However I can't any help you with the second one.

I hold no such vehemence against your people Sasha - I merely see slavery of a people that should be prosperous and free beyond the streets of Moscow and their current political oligarchy infrastructure.

This us against them mentality that you so quickly hide behind when Russia is criticized is precisely the complex I speak of.

Nun ja....you spoke about him directly as in:

I only find accuracy in your inferiority complex.

You romanticize and celebrate the very political establishment that murdered your citizenry by the millions and now you let your rights and natural resources be held hostage by authoritarian hands that don’t distribute the wealth appropriately – you are the ultimate example of a people mired in slavery and living with a complex that centuries forth may never erode.

That was very close and personal and you seem to know Sasha very well. (What a bastard he must be!)

(Even as I came to see him as a very level headed, smart guy...but that's only me)

Yes – I have been generalizing a whole Nation and him as one of its puppets on the string – that is my prerogative.

History has never seen such a destitute people cling onto nationalism under such internal and eternal massacre.
