"isms" suck! :(

You want to tell us that you are like those politicians that you vote for, a person without any particular views? Your life is really reduced to existence?

Do you really have more than half an iota of socialism in the US?

Modern Republican Party is largely socialist minded.

After all communism failed as much as capitalism.

The US was built on capitalist principles and they were fine till they absorbed European viruses of socialism and egalitarianism.

Oh, and one of the Right's idols byt the name of Jesus was somewhat of a commie.

No, he was not. Otherwise you should provide some quotes when he advocates the state forcibly confiscating private property to hand it to poor/workers. Pope JPII condemned liberation theology which was coming out with similar thesis.

Agreed. That what is meant that Christianity hasn't been really tried.

I'm just curious when would you recognize that Christianity has been tried? Ideal models exist only in theory.

Everytime you buy a new Nokia-handset, produced in Romania, due to lower wages there, you support the system.

You need to accept that average people cannot afford to not buy cheap products.

You may say, well the Romanians at Nokia get paid quite well for Romanian measures.

So this would be better if the would lose these jobs and all walk hungry? According to socialist slogan of equality. This is obvious that all people cannot be rich but this is absolutely possible to force 99% of population to live in poverty. Remaining 1% are of course top members of ruling leftist party.

Companies are collapsing. Capitalism has failed

You have no idea... This is normal that badly managed companies must bankrupt and be replaced by new ones. Only economically ignorant socialists and corrupt politicians advocate the state (taxpayers) subside badly managed companies (including banks). Of course in such system where incompetence is rewarded and good managers need to deal with dishonest competition their motivation is shrinking. More and more of them become parasites because this is profitable and much of effort is not needed. This is just enough to bribe palls of Bush, Obama or Sarkozy to be rewarded by huge donations from taxpayer pockets.

Don't be surprised if whole American continent becomes socialist.

Unless we will learn about another Pinochet who will show them where is their place. It never stop to amaze me how socialists are glad that their palls ruining just another country. After all, outcome is always the same.

This would change if people choose to live a decent live with high quality products who say cost twice the amount but last long and people producing them work less, better and get better paid. But no, people choose dumb products with "cool gimmicks" and those who would rather choose a quality product produced under humane conditions often can not find one.

That's why I allways get used cellphones, and only had four throughout the last 12 years. 2xAlcatel, Nokia3310(which I lost) and now since 4 years a Motorolla C350. Never had a contract which would give me a new one every two years. And never will have!

So this would be better if the would lose these jobs and all walk hungry?

No, it would be better if they earned the same amount as a German worked earned for the same work. I don't blame Nokia, there are surely worse companies in electrics. I blame humanity, except me - I choose not to support consumerism.

It's all a waste of resources which increases the entropy in the system we call universe and thereby fastens its death, and for what? Digital watches! You monkeys!

Sorry, I cant lurk anymore,

Hey, Soviets were never communism because Russians' intention was to use communism as a tool to be a superpower only. And, they did.

But, it still was much better than capitalism.

Would you care to explain me in what way it was any better??
I lived in Poland during 1970/80, I still live here today, and even now, when I'm unemployed for several month, I would not have the communism (or whatever it really was) back.

Today I can expect that things will be one day better, the crisis will not be there forever. Back then it was just misery and hopelessness.

This is wistful thinking on your part. Of course good consumer always calculate what is more profitable, cheaper product of doubtful quality or more expensive of better quality. This is also question of priority of every single client. Let say that somebody who use some kind of product very often is inclined to buy products of higher quality than somebody who use it sometimes or rarely.

Of course there is no such correlation that people whom produce products of higher quality work less. It depends from technological solutions.

Also, I think that this would not serve Europeans right if they would work less than they already do. People cannot have too much of free time because then too many stupid ideas coming to their minds. Of course wise employer should find out how much time this is possible to work without undermining quality of produced goods. This is one of the aspects from which depend success of his company.

While people are better paid if they have proper knowledge or unique skills. A person who could be easily replaced by many other people will never earn big bucks. There is no sense to argue about that, this is reality that will never change. Thus young people have motivation to learn as much as possible if they want to have decent salary in the future.

No, it would be better if they earned the same amount as a German worked earned for the same work.

Even in different regions of Germany there are different salaries for the same work. While German government use heavy protectionism on the job market, this short-sighted policy and will backfire. They had crisis already before American issue appeared.

It's all a waste of resources which increases the entropy in the system we call universe and thereby fastens its death, and for what? Digital watches! You monkeys!

I would like to point out that modern technologies lower exploration of resources per capita.

I see you are acting funny here - hehehe. We should detain people with such opinions, so they have more time to reflect about what they said. hehehe

Do you know what is the most important feature a CEO should have? To act as if work outgrew him while he actually has nothing to do. Second to the ability to decide when to say 'I didn't knew about it'.
