Why has Poland been attacked so often by its neighbors?

I can allways count on getting some freshly made kielbasa, fresh butter and vegetables when I visit my folks in Poland.

We stake on genetically modificated soybean, we have alot of free lands unless Poland, so we could feed world. Besides, don't mix up peasants and farmers. Peasant class means backwardness.

Peasant class means backwardness.

There we difer, I like my stubborn fellows home. They are conservative and very reserved towards new things, not a bad habit if you ask me.

And they are not as illitrate as you think they are. Besides they can very well cope without genetical modification, though I support genitical choice (examine plants geneticaly and choose the right one to mix them in a natural way), I highly oppose building genetical codes by man.

It's a moral and security measure. I do not want genetical engineered codes to spread throughout the world destroing plants by carrying in terminator-genes into native plants. I did not know that russia was persuaded to be part of this process, but money dictates the process I think.

because we already haven't this class, as I previously said, about 90% of Russian citizens live in towns.

If you call bigger villages towns, then it is a correct statement about Russia.

If we stick to the notion that a village is a village and not a town, then we have about 70% of the Russian population living in urban areas.

globalis.gvu.unu.edu/indicator_detail.cfm?IndicatorID=30&Country=RU
As you can see from the chart, 90% will be in 2100.

Feeding the world by Russia is a dream.....

First of all, Russia hasn't got enough good soils. Unfortunately for Russians, Russia is not Ukraine :) :)
Secondly, Russian climate doesn't allow good crops (either too cold or too dry) in agriculture.

Now, the matter of peasants.

Russia hasn't the class of peasants because they were exterminated by Stalin or turned into socialist farm slaves for kolkhoz purposes. We all know that when kolkhozes existed during communism, the Soviet Union (with Ukraine!) was never able to produce enough grain to feed its peoples. Large quantities of grain were imported from the USA and others, and it wasn't the problem of the climate or soils.

Today the kolkhoz mentality is still prevailing among farm workers, who are neither farmers nor peasants. They don`t own the land, so they don`t care about work.

That is why Russia won`t be able to feed not only the world but also itself in the nearest future, it already has to import a lot of food today, just like in times of the USSR.

he, my grand-grand father was illiterate peasant till he had fled from his village to learn reading and writing in Tolstoy's school. After that already educated young man he became writer, and wrote alot of novels of peasants life in his native vilage only to be killed by those peasants whom he so adored.

And this is my contribution to the thread about peasants.
Fascinating life of Russian villages or rather
"urban population" in small towns:

Watch it carefully - it's kinda Russian remake of Ferreri's
La Grande bouffe lol.

there are many maps and theories on Slav expansion so stop toting your little theories as an engraved plaque.

There were many Poles captured who were forced even into the SS let alone wehrmacht. My friend's (who is Polish) grandfather was offered to be in the SS and collaborate with the nazis.

telling people to read books is not a valid form of proof, evidence, or anything but sheer laziness

depending on what full text and/or article you read what researcher, historian, etc. don't exaggerate, you know all books aren't even true, anyway... I've had my share with debating western geniuses but realizing their tactics and constant brain washed droning, I've had enough

Uzbekistani. Even in my country we laugh at silly Polish meatheads. It is like our national passtime. And when our football players break the rules, we do not look for someone else to blame. We are a proud nation.

So where were you born? what is the uzbek national anthem called? what is your country's flag colors and capital?

wow you americans or whatever you are are really sick in the head, no wonder you can't google right. Your mind is googling something else, sick little man.

yes Poles even some JEWS were in the SS ranks for the nazis, Russians also were in nazi forces ROA also Ukrainians and Slovaks fought for the nazis. Quite possibly volunteers from every country in Europe were fighting for nazis. there were atleast 250,000 Poles in the wehrmacht

books.google.com/books?id=A4FlatJCro4C

If you'd like to search more, get your sperm out of your eyes and research the Polish members in SS-Galizien, which was established on Polish territory. Also forced Polish SS in the panzer diviision. it's not even so hard to consider the possibilty

the Polish members in SS-Galizien, which was established on Polish territory.

That was Ukrainian unit. There were even some Americans in SS, so definately there must have been some Poles too but there weren't any Polish units...

there were Polish members found in that unit though
