TheOther 6 | 3,690 18 Aug 2009 / #1Someone told me in a different thread that the Polish communists blamed the pre-war government of Poland for the outbreak of WW2 (or for the attack of Germany and Russia on Poland, respectively). Is this true and if yes, in what way did the commies blame them? I couldn't find anything related on the web.
plk123 8 | 4,148 18 Aug 2009 / #2the russians blamed the poles for that.. you can find that, i'm sure.. there was a thread about that around here too.
OP TheOther 6 | 3,690 18 Aug 2009 / #3the russians blamed the poles for thatYeah, I remember that one. But this one here is about the Polish commies blaming their own pre-war government for WW2. I never heard about that. You?
1jola 14 | 1,879 18 Aug 2009 / #4I never heard about that. You?No. You are the first one. Why not ask the person you heard it from "on another thread?"
Mr Grunwald 33 | 2,068 18 Aug 2009 / #5Yes it was me who wrote it, since my grandmother told me that when she was young her teacher was constantly anouyed over her for beeing from a Szlachta family. Also telling in history classes that it was the pre-war regimes fault for not making an alliance with Soviet union and etc...Maybe not for ww2 but for beeing against soviet union, thus starting world war 2 in a longer term then just invade Germany togehter with Soviet union if you know what I mean. They had many illusional theories, when my grandma comes back from her summer house ill ask for some more.and it isn't that wierd, they were allmost copying everything what the soviets said. As I have told you fellas in other threads. Polish communists were more sovietic then Polish...
