DOES ANY KNOW ANY FAMILIES WITH THE SURNAMES MESZ, KERMAN, AZERNICKY OR AZIERNICKY? I AM TRYING TO FIND THE RELATIVES OF THE LATE JOZEF BENJAMIN MESZ WHO WAS BORN 21 JULY, 1900, AND WHO EMIGRATED TO ARGENTINA IN 1927. A FRIEND OF MINE WHO IS ONE OF MR MESZ'S SONS, IS TRYING TO DO A GENEALOGICAL RESEARCH ON HIS POLISH ROOTS (HE CAN'T SPEAK ENGLISH OR POLISH, THAT IS WHY I DO THE RESEARCH ON HIS BEHALF).

DZIEKUJE FOR YOUR HELP.

MR MARIO ARAMBURU

Mario,
The surname, Kerman is my mother's maiden name. Her father and grandfather were from a village called Trochenbrod, in Volinia Gebarnia, Ukraine. The area became part of Poland after the first world war and then part of USSR after the Russian Revolution.

Chaim Kerman was my great grandfather, born about 1850...Benjamin (Ben Zion Kerman) was born in 1881, Came to America in 1907...he had 3 brothers and 2 sisters one of whom went to Brazil the other to Israel. The brothers all died during the German massacre that took place in trochenbrod in 1944. J.C. Fried (Friedjudipt@aol.com)
