Zgubiony 15 | 1,553 2 Oct 2007 / #5what's golumki?Golobki was Americanized to Golumki mostly by Italian Americans....these are the only people I hear this from.
GeneD - | 2 7 Oct 2007 / #6I use v8 Veggie juice (pretty much tomato juice). I also use instant rice to make them quickly (stuff with uncooked rice).I went to a jewish deli the other day, and tried theirs. It fell apart and tasted like it was made with brown sugar. I think it was gross, but is there a jewish alternate to the receipie?
wildrover 98 | 4,441 8 Oct 2007 / #8Err perhaps its a reciepe that was first discoverd by Pidgeons....or possibly their favourite food......??????
OP NancyG 1 | 2 10 Oct 2007 / #9Sorry for the mistake Many Americans say golumki but I mean stuffed cabbage-golabki
swingirl - | 3 11 Oct 2007 / #12The name golabki means "little dove" not exactly pigeon because they look about the size of a little dove all curled up.
