OP sapphire 22 | 1,241 20 Dec 2006 / #6Guys... I was actually talking about sausages here.. those garlicky ones beginning with K are good... and the white ones that you put in soup.

OP sapphire 22 | 1,241 20 Dec 2006 / #8Ooh blimey.. dont get me banned... I'm merely expressing a healthy interest in Polish cuisine. .. now is it best to eat them hot or cold.. and should they be eaten whole or with the end chopped off?
FISZ 24 | 2,116 20 Dec 2006 / #9Depends on the sausage. Some you can eat cold or hot. I don't find it necsssary to cut the ends off unless there's still string on it.
wozzy 8 | 206 20 Dec 2006 / #12I got two here in the fridge at work...........a big fat one for snacking on its a "KRAKOWSKA" good smoked garlicky one, The other is "KIELBASA RZESZOWSKA" two minutes in the microwave and dip the end in mustard great.Love boiling rings also but as always quality meats make the differance.
FISZ 24 | 2,116 20 Dec 2006 / #13Sorry, but my mind is still in the gutter!LOL ......still thinkin about that sausage huh?
Ranj 21 | 947 20 Dec 2006 / #14Perhaps you are a vegetarian?Hardly!LOL ......still thinkin about that sausage huh?:) :)
shewolf 20 Dec 2006 / #15I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the wrong thing when talking about Polish sausages. It's even awkward to order them at restaurants. People look at you funny when you say you want a Polish sausage. It gets even funnier when you eat them in front of people.

OP sapphire 22 | 1,241 28 Feb 2007 / #20ah thanks for reviving my thread.. personally I think you need to chop the end off otherwise you get that bit of string stuck in your mouth. Ive just discovered the cwilka with cranberries... its fantastic. Anybody know which are the best sausages to cook in a soup?
peterweg 37 | 2,311 28 Feb 2007 / #21Oh dear, women talking about eating Polish sausages. I better leave.
