"Report Message" feature implemented

A "Report Message" feature was implemented today. Now each member who has posted enough messages (currently at least 50) will be able to automatically report an offensive or spam message.

Please note, however, to use this feature only when it's really needed (i.e. when the abusing message has not been edited or deleted for over a day or two or in very extreme cases) because forum moderators will still keep checking each and every message just like they have been doing so for the last years.

Thank you for supporting the PF Project.

Moderators can also use the "Block member" feature so those members who are too sensitive or too impatient may be quietly blocked ;).

Seriously though, we believe members who have been here for a while (posting 50 messages usually takes a while) have already become familiar for the forum moderation techniques and forum rules so we believe and hope their judgment will be accurate.

If not, the "allowance bar" will be raised to, let's say, 2,000 posts ;).

I hate parameter driven system like that. Talking of bars..... time to go home via the local for a quick one soon.

Do we have to pass an exam?

Do we have to pass an exam?

Hopefully after posting 50 messages (that stayed there) no exam will be needed :).

lol - very funny Donkey :)

Good add, Admin :)

Although it might be that the "quote" and "report" options are too close together seeing as I've just about reported everyone I've attempted to quote since I logged on a few moments ago... (this maybe because I can't see straight though).

Reporting is a two-step process so even if you accidentally click on the Report link, it won't be submitted until you provide a reason of reporting the message.
